Now that we've probably all started our new school year by now & have gotten settled into our routine, what exactly do you do in the morning?

    5:25 - alarm goes off
7:05 - like to be out the door
7:45 - like to arrive at school (I could be there as late as 8, so maybe I'll set my alarm a bit later)

I get on the computer during getting ready, so I could really wake up a little later, so I first start up the computer & put my bottle of water in the freezer. It will freeze just right by the time I walk out the door. I also like to have the news on TV.

I do the usual "getting ready" stuff & I'm out the door. I still don't eat breakfast...never did on work day mornings. I don't eat lunch either. I just eat when I get home.

Going in the morning takes a good 45 min. Coming home from work takes much less time...about 20 min.

5:00-- Alarm goes off, and I do a 30 minute workout video.
5:30-- In the shower and get myself ready
The baby wakes up any time between 5:30-6:30, so my husband usually gets her and plays with her until I'm done getting ready.
6:20-6:30--Wake up the 4 year old if she hasn't already woken up. Help get both kiddos dressed and ready for the day. My husband and I tag team during this time as he's also trying to get himself ready.
7:00-- Load kiddos in husband's car and wish them a good day. He does all daycare drop off as daycare is much closer to his work. Then I make my coffee and breakfast and finish grabbing my stuff for school.
7:15 at the latest: I'm out the door for school. I arrive at the building by 7:25, and the kiddos show up at 7:50.

    Do a 15 minute workout--walking or strength
    Shower, make-up, get dressed
Breakfast while watching the morning news and catching up on emails and here.
    Make lunch
Out the door sometime between 6:30 and 6:45.

5:00- alarm goes off, hit snooze
5:10- alarm goes off, get up and in shower
    5:40- Out the door
    6:00- arrive at school
    7:10- kids come in

9 times out 10, I've forgotten or need to finish something, so I have to go in that early. If I'm having an amazingly accomplished week, I could push everything up an hour, but it rarely happens.

What time do you all go to bed at night, may I ask? Wow.

    My morning routine...
5:45: Alarm goes off. I consider if I want to get up, maybe go for a walk, make breakfast, leisurely morning. Nope. Sleep is better. I roll over, reset it for 6:25.

6:25: Haul myself out of bed, hurry through a shower and blow dry my hair.

6:45: Guzzle coffee, hope I have a cliff bar in the car. Hope I made lunch last night. Grab it and head out the door.

Yeah... it's stressful, but I ALWAYS wake up and decide I want more sleep. o_O BAH.

I TRY to go to bed by 10:30 (to get up at 5), but often I don't get to sleep until midnight. On bad days, I tend to nap from 6-8 and then work from 8-midnight. It's a vicious cycle.

Thank goodness I don't have to worry about caring for anyone else! :p

Wow, there are some early-risers here! I am not a morning person at all. I try to get every little tiny thing done the day before so I don't have to wake up even a second earlier.

    6:20 Wake up/shower
7:00 Leave the house and stop at the gas station
7:05 Get a little snack for mid-day; head to work
7:15 Get to school, turn on computer, eat quick breakfast, and mentally prepare for the kids
7:50 Kids start walking down the halls

    5:20 first alarm goes off
5:45 I actually drag myself out of bed (hopefully - sometimes this is more like 6:00. It's SUPPOSED To be 5:30. I am not a morning person.)
5:45-6:30 shower, get ready, get lunch together, eat a bowl of cereal or a Nutri Grain bar while I'm blow drying my hair (haha).
    6:30 (ideally) leave for work
    6:50 arrive at work
7:45 pick up kids from the playground to walk them into the building

I typically go to bed between 11:00 and 11:30.

I know I should be getting more sleep, but I am too much of a night owl. Also, I have a few TV shows that are on 10-11. I want to watch them! ;)

Some of you get up at a time that I consider "the middle of the night" lol. I am SO not a morning person. Morning is actually my best sleeping time. Left to my own devices in the summer my natural sleeping clock is more like 4 am-11am.

My alarm goes off at 6, and I hit snooze multiple times. I could have slept for a full 8 hours and I am still incredibly exhausted simply because it's that time of the morning. There are times that I've been so tired that I turn off the alarm, immediately go back to sleep, and have no recollection of getting up or the alarm going off at all. I end up dragging myself out of bed after 4-5 alarms usually between 6:20-6:30. I take the fastest shower I can, blow dry and straighten my hair, and then get dressed. I need to be out the door by 6:55. Most days I end up putting on my make up at stop lights on the way to work. If I don't pack a lunch the night before, it doesn't get done. I never have even an extra second in the morning to do anything else. Usually I don't eat breakfast, but I have a super long morning this year, so I'm trying to bring something to school with me.

I would LOVE to be a morning person. Regular work hours are so much more friendly to morning people!

I am SO not a morning person. I'm up at 5, but I'm miserable every moment of the way. :p Unfortunately, I'm also a procrastinator, which forces me to get up earlier than I like (plus teaching in a school where first block starts at 7:20)

First of all, I am SHOCKED at how fast some of you get ready...shower, make-up, etc. I MUST wash my hair every morning, so maybe that's what takes me longer. It has to be morning, or it will smell by lunch time. Don't know why, but my mom is like this too. Anyway, here's mine...

5:30-first alarm goes off--turn that off immediately
6:00-Second alarm goes off. Hit snooze.
    6:15-Literally roll out of bed.
    6:16-Get in shower
6:28-Tell husband to wake son up. (Hubby works nights, and is home about 20 minutes before he has to get son up, and ALWAYS falls asleep in that time frame.)
6:30-Hair--brush, apply gel, dry, pull up-- (I am afraid of lice. Never wear my hair down at school.)
    6:50-Make-up
7:00-Look at the outfit I picked out the night before.
    7:01-Decide I don't want to wear that
7:10- Finally decide on what to wear
7:15-Start screaming because I can't find my keys. WHO HAS MY **** KEYS???
    7:16-Find keys in purse--leave house
7:50-Arrive at school--eat a granola bar on the way to work
    8:00-Kids arrive

Good night. I gotta do this again tomorrow. ha ha

I shower at night so I can sleep longer. I get up between 6:15-6:25. I get dressed, put on makeup, put mousse in my hair. Then I walk the dog, get my lunch ready if I didn't do it the night before, and I leave by 7:00.

Bedtime: NO later than 9 PM (that includes weekends).

4:30 AM - alarm is set to go off; I usually wake up quite a while before it; read the Bible, devotionals, and play a round of Plants vs. Zombies to get my mind awake. :)
5:00 AM - The three SH's (shower, shave, shampoo) - now that I installed a shower mirror and treated myself to a wet/dry electric razor, I can do all three at once (not sure if I'm saving time!) :)
5:30 AM - dress, check out computer, Facebook, emails, forums, etc.
6:00 AM - Breakfast (for some reason I have never thought to eat breakfast at school... not sure I could do that. :) )
6:30 AM - Head out the door.
    6:45 AM - enter classroom. (15 minutes, door-to-door)
7:45 AM - staff room, yard duty, etc.
    8:00 AM - Students arrive.

My schedule for when I have to start work is different every day. Today I had a meeting at 6:45, sometimes I don't have to be in later, around 8:30. I'm at different school sites or my central office, so that makes a difference in when I wake up.
    This is typical:
6:30ish three alarms go off at different times
    6:45 get out of bed
7:00 make coffee and have a smoke (I know...bad) hopefully this won't last much longer.
7:15 wash face, put in contacts
    7: 20 make-up, hair
7:40 find something to wear. Put clothes in dryer to freshen up
8:10ish gather all my stuff and out the door.

No early morning breakfast for me. I'll eat a small breakfast maybe at my desk, or have an early lunch. I also don't do any housework like making my bed, washing coffee mug, etc. I'm working on it.

    7:30 Out the door.

I haven't downloaded PvZ 2, due to the negative reviews... that's a shame because I was looking for some new content. On my third round of battling the same zombies. ;)

I know someone who takes just wash-ups all week & then showers on the weekends when she has much more time. Basically, wash-ups are just standing at your sink & just washing the parts of your body that get the most odorous. She says she doesn't smell any worse than anyone who takes a full shower or bath & it saves a WHOLE LOT more time on work day mornings. Absolutely no one knows the difference.

Anyone "bold" enough to try this? :D

No... after a few days, my hair would be pretty unbearably oily/miserable. :)

Well, you could wash your hair really quickly mid-week, but when you think about it, who really needs to wash/scrub their arms/legs (for example) every single day, unless they work at a grimy construction site (for example) & the dirt, dust, & sweat really builds up.

I have to take a shower every morning as well. If I don't, my hair looks oily by mid-morning.

Ted~that is EARLY!!! I couldn't function at that time!

True...and actually, I had a dermatologist once tell me that when showering, I SHOULD only wash armpits and personal areas, as too much washing of the others can be a cause of dried skin, other issues. Was interested to learn that from a dermatologist.
