I know summer's not until 6/21, but what's the temp in your area?

Low 70s in my area of southern CA these days, which I LOVE & wish it would stay that way all summer! :D But, it will get in the 90s here, at times, 100.

Last Tuesday, it was over 100F (39 Celsius) with the humidex; today it's about 65F (18 Celsius).

It's raining right now. I love it!! :D I used to live in the central valley of CA where it would get to be 100 by 9 am. It was horrible. Now, I live close to the ocean. :D Muuuuch nicer.

It has been over a 100 everyday this week. Everything is also so dry because we have had no rain for over a month. Dry and heat makes for many fires.

It's been hovering at 100 here, too. At least our humidity hasn't been as bad as normal, so the heat index has it close to the real temp. I love sunshine, but I'm keeping curtains and blinds drawn to try and keep the house cool.

We have had a delay of sunshine til today! It's mid 70s and everyone is talking about it because we have only had a couple of sunny days since winter...

Today we went to the outdoor market and bought kettle corn and flowers, ate lunch outside, and going on a mini bike ride in a bit!

High 70's/low-mid 80's at the most, which is great...but there is no air conditioning ANYWHERE around here because of that, so it can get really hot and stuffy inside.

Yup. In this town, hardly any of the places have ACs. We just open all of the windows and a nice draft flows through the place. :)

It is low 80's around here in sunny but often overcast or even drizzling Okinawa. We are heading to the beach with another family today.

It's been at 100 the last 2 days. The worst part is the LACK OF RAIN!!! Since February, we've only had 2 inches of measurable rain. Everything looks so brown and dead. It makes it feel even hotter than it really is. It's sad when people are wishing for a hurricane to bring us some relief...

Today we hit 81:D That's the warmest it's been here since last August/September  My son, always the pessimist, reminded me today that it will be snowing in 6 months---

It's been in the 80's and 90's in WI. We need air when it hits 90 because we always have the humidity and it's miserable.

The weather man says it is 96 but my themometer by the pool says 101. Then the humidity makes it nice and sticky. We had about 3 days of spring and then the heat.

But I can deal with the heat much better than the cold. :)

Same here--it was in the 60s, and then BAM!--straight to the 90s! I was joking with my sister that we'll be that hot until September. (Last year, we set a record for something like consecutive days above 90 degrees.)

I'd much rather have cold, though--you can always put another layer on, but there's only so much you can take off... :p

We've been hovering between 40 and 65 degrees all spring with lots of rain and snow. We received 0.46 inches of rain overnight. In the summer we range between 85-95 degrees.

We hit 105 yesterday and got rain!!! Well, I guess you can call the five minutes of wetness that came out of the sky rain. However, I still had to water this morning :(

It feels like 95 out there now with the humidity climbing
each day. No rain in 3 weeks. Thank goodness only 4 more
days in this. This is what my weather page says about my town.
    Sunny
    93°
    Feels Like: 101°

It should be over 100 here in the Central Valley by this time of year, but it's in the 60s and rainy instead. Such weird weather this year!

KateL, I am SOOOO glad to be out of the central valley, though. But yes, that is strange weather for this time of the year. June wasn't too bad, but once July came, I was in tears. I don't do too well in heat.

It was 103 F today in East Texas. It's been thundering and lightning every evening for the past three days, but so far no rain here. I went to school for a couple of hours today and when I got back in my car, the thermometer was reading 119.
