Still shopping today and tomorrow. I'm stopping by my hubbys workplace at noon tomorrow and he's taking me out for lunch! After that more errands and lots of cleaning!! Won't start cooking until wednesday. I have gotten a fair amount of reading done too :)

Had to go do some last Christmas shopping. I was wrapping up a storm last night! But, I love wrapping...it's fun!

Took some doing tracking down some hot choc mix for my Dad. I didn't just want some grocery store Swiss Miss. I'm talking the gourmet kind. Barnes & Noble ran out of the Godiva & Starbucks said they had it last yr, but not this yr. I tried 1 more place who I'd think would have it...HomeGoods & there were 2 types! :D (Oh yes, Coffee Grn Tea & Leaf does have some too!)

Mine & my BF's b-days are both in Jan & then of course, Valentine's is in Feb (then no gifts for ea other again until next Christmas), so I'm pretty much all set w/ gifts for him through Valentine's.

I still have to shop for a few people; including picking up a bunch of frames (we got prints of wedding photos for our parents and grandparents). DH is working on his sermon for tomorrow tonight and I'm cleaning. Hopefully he'll get enough done that we can run this afternoon to finish up, and maybe go out to dinner and see The Hobbit.

We drive up to my parents on Christmas Day for a few days, and then DH's parents will be stopping here on their way down to Florida over New Years.

I´m off from the 20th through the 6th. We´ll be spending Christmas with my in-laws then taking them to the beach house we love to go to on vacations. I can´t wait! We just went over Thanksgiving break and now we´re headed back (yes, it´s still beach weather here!). :)

    Christmas, 2015

So like last year, I'm not at a school this year either.

I plan to start reading my book & color in my coloring books, continue walking/exercising, working, & of course relaxing! I'll meet up with 2 or 3 friends, like we often do during the break. I'll probably go to a Christmas Eve church vigil w/ my Mom.

    Christmas Eve at sister's house
    Christmas brunch at my parents
Day after Christmas we go to in laws for over night
Then home and relax for rest of week...maybe a day into NYC, I've stockpiled some books, family time
DH and I thinking of NOT going out or New Years. Just quiet at home, nice dinner, rent a movie, sip some lovely champagne...

It's so nice to be off this week--I can get all of those last minute things done without too much stress!
My daughter arrived home on Saturday afternoon and my son is flying in Wednesday night. Christmas dinner will be here--the four of us, my sister and brother-in-law, my mom and (hopefully) my mother-in-law. Everyone is staying here that night, so I'll be making a big brunch on Boxing Day. My daughter's boyfriend and son's girlfriend will also be here for a few days.
Also in the plans--a couple of movies and dinners out, lots of reading, good food and drink!

My break doesn't start until 3pm today! I have some last minute shopping to do then cooking for Christmas. Going to a day after Christmas party also. Then just hopefully relaxing for the rest of the break! I have a list of books I want to read and some stuff to do around the house.

I'm heading to my parents' tomorrow and will stay through Christmas. We'll be making candy, pies, etc. There'll also be games and fun. Right after Christmas I have a get together with my group of best friends who live all over the state. That'll be a day of laughter, food, wine, and fun. Other than that, the weather is deciding that I will spend a lot of time inside. It's supposed to rain most of my break. :( I will go up to school one of the days. I always spend one day up there as a spring cleaning sort of day, to let us come back with a fresh, ready room. We do have 2 days of pd before the kids come back, but we aren't supposed to do cleaning on those days. I have several books set aside to read and I suppose I should do some house work too.

Funny how this worked out, but I'm meeting a friend on Mon, another on Tues, & another on Wed. (None of them know each other.) Most of them work in the school system, so we have to squeeze our meet-ups into holiday breaks & summer vacations when we can.

I'm enjoying a quiet Christmas with my parents today and tomorrow. Then I'll have a few days to get stuff done around the house (just moved at the beginning of December and still getting settled). Next week I head out to see my sisters for a few days in another province. We'll celebrate my nephew's birthday and do New Year's together before I come home.

    I've kept busy so far.
    • Saturday: Supper at new restaurant with friends. Cleaned house.
    • Sunday: Afternoon meeting with former coworker. Dinner with a friend.
    • Monday: Dentist. Shopping (12 hours) with BFF.
    • Tuesday: Dinner date. Moved furniture.
    • Wednesday: Cable guy added new connection. Moved more furniture. BF came over to make pies. We watched some TV and took a nap.
    • Thursday: Dinner at Mom's. Shampooed carpet. Moved even more furniture. Took down decorations.
    • Friday: Going to see BF later today. But first, I need sleep.

We got out Wed. 12/23 and right after school my husband and I left to spend time with my family (we live 6 hours from them). We will go back home tomorrow morning and sometime we will go to his parents to do Christmas with them. I go back Jan. 4, but he has to work Wed. and Thurs. this week.

My friend can't meet up tomorrow, but I'm still meeting up with another pal on Tues & another on Wed. I may see one of them about once a year, if that. The other, I haven't seen in a couple or so yrs.

I was hoping to meet up with a friend for lunch but we are to have a major snowstorm tomorrow with 7 to 10 inches of snow with high winds. It is considered a Winter Storm Warning but may be a blizzard at times. Not a time to be away from home. We would definitely have a snow day if we weren't on vacation!

We're also under a storm warning; snow and freezing rain is supposed to start late this afternoon or early this evening. I'll be heading out this morning to do some errands and a little "fun" shopping, then I'm planning to hibernate in the house for a couple of days.
