What was the best grant you posted or had fulfilled on a site like DonorsChoose or from other sources?

I co-led a book club after-school for fifth graders who needed to boost their English reading skills... We got copies of several high-low books to use with the students, and they loved the books!

I got 30 world atlases for my high school geography classes. It was great, and helped us tremendously.

That's great! Did you get it through DonorsChoose or another grant? I know you can get magazines through DC by choosing them through Barnes and Noble, but what about the per-student issues? (I'm guessing that's what you're talking about.)

    I got a Time4Kids subscription too!

My favorite funded project was a wireless listening center so kids could sit at their seats and listen to a story on tape/cd during iwt.

DonorsChoose can do classroom subscriptions through one of their vendors. The vendor is "Weekly Reader"... or something along those lines. I also used them for that and got 30 subscriptions to "Current Events" magazine. In total, I've had 5 proposals funded.

I have had a bunch funded. A local tv station is interested in interviewing me, but I am not sure if I can do it...
