mom is on my side of the situation for sure. She is a great mom to work with because she is very supportive. I guess I am just frustrated because I really think this child should have been suspended.

I wouldn't tell him he can't use the bathroom-- in my state that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment and borders on child abuse. If you have an aide in your classroom i would only send him with the aide--but Ido have naother question---all this ruckus went on in the bathroom and no one noticed? there were students from tow other classrooms involved but you ddint' mention anything about them--were their teachers aware that they were fooling around in the bathroom? Even in our public elemetary school the bathrooms are located so that if that kind of ruckus was going on a teacher, custodian or office staff memeber would have heard and put an end to it. If it should happen agian then I would give him a pair of gloves and soem cleaner and make him clean up his own mess. Can you have him go to the nurses office to use the bathroom?
