Nice voice. I have never heard of him, Does he only do remakes. On youtube I can only find remakes by him. Does he do any original songs?

I don't know Emma....... It just seems that some of the threads I read here on A to Z people seem lost, unhappy, and in need of a new start.

That does not apply to me...... With my significant other (my wife) I'm in heaven everyday.

But here's a song some ---- who want to move on -- just might want to hear......:hugs:

Love that song (You don't know me) ! Both Wille Nelson and Kenny Loggins sing a beautiful version, too.

I listened to a few of the songs he does. They are really good. I wonder if he sings any Christmas songs?

Thanks for sharing, Major. I really love "You Don't Know Me", but both of them made me smile. Michael Buble is fantastic.

I hate screaming/squealing fans. WHAT IS the point, ladies? Or the whistling and hooting from the men's side.

That's one reason I NEVER buy LIVE albums. I prefer the clean studio cuts.

    ***

And when the screaming/hooting/whistling/squeling starts for those NOT in the entertainment or sports industry...I want to lose my lunch.

    ****

Buble is very nice...but I prefer Sinatra and Connick Jr.

(There is something about watching a man play the piano that is SUCH a turn-on to me. Add him singing nicely...and I am a puddle!)

I quite agree McKennaL, Martin, Sinatra, Cole, and Connick are the masters. Buble, I think, will rank right up there with them eventually.

    All three are great

When I was little my dad, being a single parent, took me everywhere with him. I remember being put to sleep in his car to the sound of the crooners on the radio and dad singing while driving home from where ever we had been.
Through all the turmoil of growing up in the 60s the things my dad and I could agree on was Baseball and the "crooner sound"
In college my collection of songs had the teenage pop stuff, but I always had the romantic crooners, I'd have the long haired tied dyed hippie guys wanting to borrow my casettes for that special date.

I was never a fan of Sinatra. His voice never appealed to me at all. I do like Dean Martin......ok laugh all you want, but I enjoy listening to him!

    My Favorite Dean Martin song
In Napoli where love is king
When boy meets girl here's what they say

When the moon hits you eye like a big pizza pie
    That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
    That's amore
    Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
    And you'll sing "Vita bella"
    Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
    Like a gay tarantella

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool
    That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
    You're in love
When you walk down in a dream but you know you're not
    Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
    That's amore

This is my favorite Dean Martin song.

    Buona sera signorina buona sera
It is time to say goodnight to Napoli
Though it's hard for us to whisper buona sera
With that old moon above the Mediterranean sea
In the morning signorina we'll go walking
Where the mountains help the moon come in to sight
And by the little jewelry shop we'll stop and linger
While I buy a wedding ring for your finger
In the meantime let me tell you that I love you
Buona sera signorina kiss me goodnight
Buona sera signorina kiss me goodnight

    (Buona sera signorina buona sera)

Buona sera signorina kiss me goodnight

BTW, I've discovered that I don't have "You Don't Know Me" on CD even though I love it. I'm heading out to buy it tonight.
