Good Afternoon, You all have been incredibly kind and patient with all of the prayers my husband and I have asked for for our baby boy. I am 24 weeks today. Due to a medication that I must take, the baby is at a slightly higher risk for heart problems. Tomorrow we go for the fetal echocardiogram at 3 PM. I am, naturally, quite nervous about this. I am asking God to please watch over and protect my baby boy. While I am working so hard at accepting his will for me and my husband, I ask that he please, please bless my baby with a sturdy and healthy heart. Thank you all again, so so much.
Haven't stop praying for baby Starista and his wonderful parents yet and I will say an extra pray for you both as you go through this medical test.
Prayers for you!!! I know someone who recently had this done... everything was ok & they got some really cool 3d pix of baby!!! Prayers for all of you!!!
God is amazing in every way, he will not only protect your baby boy, but he will help you and your husband be strong. As someone mentioned you get awesome pictures of that beautiful child, you three are in my prayers. God will give you the strength, let us know how it goes.
updated First of all ~ Thank you so much for all of your kind words and thoughts. The doctor was looking for pulminary hypertension, which can be caused by meds. He found no signs of this -- thank GOD! Toward the end the pressure he was putting on my belly was uncomfortable to the point of painful -- but anything for my little guy. I am not trying to worry about this part: he spent a LOT of time examining one ventricle in particular and was concerned that he may have seen a hole in it. After looking at it more and more he "concluded" that he doesn't "think" there's a hole, but wants me back in 9 weeks (when I am 32 wks) to double check. Trying to stay positive and thank you again!
Oh, how I thank the Lord for the good news. I will take it on faith that your baby will be perfect! God bless you. We will continue in prayer.
Star... that sounds pretty good. I hope the next visit isn't a big deal. I had fam born with a hole in their heart & it grew back together on its own!!! Continued prayers!!!
