I ordered a few things but have run out of ideas. I got some ideas from the people that posted pics. What else are you all creating? :)

They would also be great for field trips! - We made cards for emergency contact for our big field trip last year for chaperones - hmmmm, postcard or business card? :)

I feel really silly because I just figured this out (after ordering 4+ red stamps). Wanted to share with you all.

You can get blue ink for 1.99 instead of ordering red.

Order your stamps in black ink (or the free ink).

Then, on the left ( on the main page) select business essentials, then stamp ink pads, then select free ink pad, now add it to your cart.

You will now select 1 at 1.99 and on the next page pick blue. You should now have a blue ink pad in your cart for 1.99 You can just pop out the black ink pad when you get your order and switch it with the blue.

    Hope this helps someone!

I have also gotten the $5 shipping with a key chain order. I ordered an inital keychain for my school keys and you have the option for color on the back for $1.99. By ordering color on the back, you get the same $5 shipping option.

Oh how I LOVE Vistaprint.... It's amazing how much joy a website can bring this little teacher. I went Vistaprint crazy the summer before last (20+ orders)and ordered a few replacement things last summer, but I got married this year, so I need all new Vistaprint goodies!!! :thumb: I've been having fun replacing my old stuff with my new married name. Too fun! Also, thank you to everyone for sharing your ideas, I love making the new creative stuff you guys have already slaved over!:thanks:

Yeah, you have all made some great stuff. For me, I am on the fence. I keep reading these posts, and I feel the peer pressure to get some stuff! I am holding off until I have my theme all situated. I have a feeling once I order, my slim hold on restraint will be forever gone :)

I've been stopping by vistaprint all day today trying to take advantage of the $5 shipping one last time. I've come up w/ an idea...very simple in fact.

The postcards have a glossy surface and can be used as a dry erase board. I was thinking of just ordering FREE postcards in white(pack of 100) and attaching tongue depressors to them to make individual hand-held answer(paddle) boards. They probably won't last very long, but I can just make more!

I was also thinking of ordering the FREE large postcards and adding my own lines(primary) so the students can practice their handwriting.

Once again...thanks for the links everyone!

    I ordered eight things:
A tote bag for a share bag
Small magnets: "here is my bee-utiful work"
Large plain magnets (blank-not sure what I will use them for, but I know I can find a use!)
    Thank you note cards
    great news oversize postcards
    Thank you post cards
a flower mouse pad (goes along with my bee theme-having three "bee" rules on them

I think I may have to order more....like others have said, I am also an addict. I love showing the teachers at my school all the cool things that I get from VistaPrint!

Thanks for all of the ideas!

You usually have to add something to you order that you have to pay for like red/blue ink for a stamp for 1.99, color to the back of a key chain for 1.99, stamp pad for 1.99 . . . read back through this thread for more ideas

I used postcards, lol. For 5th graders, you might wanna use business cards, to avoid insulting their "dignity," lol.

Does your school laminate things for you? You could laminate the postcards and they would last MUCH longer. GREAT idea regarding the large postcards!!!!

I need some good ideas for business cards. I was going to order some last time, but they weren't on the free list, and I forgot what I was going to do w/ them. :)

:( The offer expired on me. I had about 8 things in the cart and was working on the last 2. Do these $5 shipping offers happen often or did I completely miss out? I sure hope this comes around again...

I think the $5 shipping is usually around holidays (the last one before this was around Memorial day)- so maybe Labor day?

I was working on my 2nd order when it timed out, too. It was only 10:00 so I thought I had until midnight. Nope.

I had business cards for free this morning, but when I finished the order they were no longer free.

Does someone have a newer link we may use?

I have gotten the $5 shipping on almost every order I think because I order something I have to pay for. For example, I usually order color on the back of something (Key chain, lawn sign) for 1.99 or red/blue ink for a stamp for 1.99 and as soon as I do that, I get the $5 dollar shipping. If you look at the link that MrsSki (I think) provided, there isn't anything on the site to indicate a $5 shipping promo. Just try it one time. If it doesn't work, you can always cancel the item.

TeacherShelly, I used the same link and order after midnight and still got the $5 shipping - again I really think the key is to order something you have to pay for

I made two orders yesterday and got the $5 shipping but at midnight it said expired. I tried again today using different offers, choosing the red ink for 1.99 but still no luck! so sad!

They are also easy to hang. I have concrete walls and I just use the poster adhesive from 3M

About the emails, have you placed an order lately? Could the emails be going into your junk mail?

No, you will never be able to stop! :)

I just got one giant order in, which is great because they usually split it into several shipments...which is torture. I can't wait to spread it all out and brag to my husband what I got for ten or fifteen dollars!
