Hi! I got invited for a job interview at a great district, but I was told I will be answering a writing prompt before the interview. Has anyone does this before? Help!

It's becoming more common in interviews. It may ask you to explain your teaching philosophy, or perhaps it may give you a case study in classroom management and ask you to explain your possible response. You might also see extended response essays on applications for certain school districts. It isn't meant to be scary, but to be an additional insight into your pedagogy.

    Good luck with your interview!

Yes, sometimes they will give you a scenario and you need to write what you would do.
