What are some good books for introducing Writers Workshop? I teach 3rd grade.

Anything by Lucy Calkins, I heard, is superior. Amazon.com has a great variety. :) There's also Guiding Readers and Writers from Fountas and Pinnell.

    Writer's Craft

There is a book by Ralph Fletcher, "Craft Lessons," that is very good as well. He has a fiction and a nonfiction version. He also writes a book to guide you through the writer's workshop (can't remember the title, sorry...). He uses children's literature to teach writing skills. The Fontas and Pinnell book is good too. I am reading that one now.
