I wrote more in another thread in the "General Education" area. But, I'm wondering - is anyone else worried about getting a job offer? If you've gotten (and taken) a job offer - was it the school/school district you wanted? It's been suggested that I just take my first offer, work there for at least half a year, and if I don't like it - try somewhere else. The best school district in my area is known for taking weeks or even a month to firmly let people know they have the job. Has anyone ever taken a job and than regretted it? I know someone who said yes to job, signed the papers, and ten minutes after signing the paper work - she got a call from her first choice district saying that she could chose between two schools! Oh, was she disappointed.
