No matter how you feel about mass immigration this "gumball" explanation is worth a watch. Does mass immigration make a dent in reducing world poverty? Tell us what do you think? Take a few minutes to watch the video. https://www.youtube.com/embed/LPjzfGChGlE
I always have to hesitate when watching presentations like this. I don't know Mr. Beck, nothing about him, but it is my experience that people using scare tactics to make a point have many points they are not revealing. My initial thoughts: Those one million people-Mr. Beck wants to point out that it isn't making a difference, so why do it. I bet those one million would argue that it did make a difference to them. Also, one million people per year compared with the 300,000,000+ people living in the US-how is that making a huge difference? Granted, that is not taking into consideration illegal immigration, but I do not see how that is damaging to our infrastructure.
I don't know Beck or his agenda. What the video illustrated to me is the enormity of world poverty......... For me the "gumballs" make a loud and clear statement. I can relate more to the visual stack of gumballs than I can to the numbers ...... 3 billion, 4 billion or 5 billion.
That is true...assuming his data is correct (and I don't doubt it is at least accurate), that is overwhelming.
