OH, yeah, that's on my agenda.

Fifty years old, gave birth to 2 kids, with a heffalump, having a heart attack while riding a bike naked... That's an image I want to give to the world.:eek:

I hope they aren't where any kids can potentially see them because that would so piss me off if my kids were exposed. I'm guessing they go in certain areas but then it wouldn't be much of a protest if people can't see them.

We get a lot of nakedness around here, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this. We had some out of town friends come in during the Folsom Street Fair, so we took them down there.... it was pretty funny to see their reaction. Look it up if you're curious. ;) We also go to see the Pride Parade each year, and that does not include a lot of clothes. I love the barely dressed motorcyclists.

I love living so close to the city for events, but I seriously can't imagine having a child in the city. At least we can choose what we go in for and expose our kids to. But we see little kids at events like these, and it makes you wonder.

I don't think it's much worse than your typical middle aged, overweight, expensively equipped weekend warrior road cyclist in their full spandex team cycling kit going down the road at 15mph on $5000 worth of carbon fiber bike-shop bling.

Word of advice: You can wear your favorite athletic shorts, trousers, dress slacks or blue jeans OVER padded bike shorts and be just as comfortable. And you won't look like a stuffed sausage riding a bicycle.

BTW, the aerodynamic benefits of skin-tight clothing don't really come into play until about 25 mph. Anyone who goes that fast can wear whatever they want.

I actually saw this last year in Chicago. We were just stopped at a stop light and it went right by us. The police had blocked off the streets so that they could get by. It was hilarious because at first I just thought it was a regular bike race and then you see that everyone is naked!

They do it late at night (11 I think) so most kids should be in bed by then. I would NEVER do it, but it was quite funny to watch.

I'm not a kid, but I don't want to see that.

Me either. I don't even care when "most" kids are in bed. Even indecent exposure for one kid whose parents were stopped at a stop light and didn't know would really make my blood boil. Sorry.

It may be hilarious and cute but not at the expense of the children.

:help:It would be terrible to witness one of the women bikers fall off and one of the other bikers ran over one of her melons. How about if one of the men bikers fell off, and you know the rest!?!
    OUCH &,

I am not saying I agree with it (I don't) but was just saying I saw it. It was funny for me to see but I would have a different view point if I was with a child.

And let me tell you...there were many examples of "bad naked" that no one needs to see in public.

There appear no laws against middle aged men wearing brightly colored spandex. And the clothing is sold openly in bike shops to anyone willing to spend $120 for a skin-tight jersey advertising the Discovery Channel.

Oh, wait. You meant the naked people riding bikes. I'm not sure about that either.

We're always amazed at the people we see biking around Marin. The clothing is almost as bad as their riding manners.

Marin is likely the FRED capital of the USA if not the world.

I, on the other hand, am what they commonly refer to as a "retro grouch."
