Ok so I am a Science. Social Studies, Writing teacher with limited space for a print rich environment. I want to create a writing centered word wall that is actually of use to the children when preparing for the Writing Assessment in February. Any ideas?
I am not sure about the content, but I do have a GREAT space saver for you. I put my word walls in the clear, plastic, sign holders (bought mine at staples). I make a template and add to them as our word walls grow. Each table has a word wall sign on their tables. I also have a large one, but they rely more on the small ones at their seats.
Nope. they are sign holders. Here they are http://www.staples.com/office/suppl...-Holders_18773_Business_Supplies_10051_SEARCH
Yes-- they can be but I figure I can use them over and over again... but- I wonder if you could do something similar with the sheet protectors?
I like those. Are you going to be able to keep anything up during the Writing Assessment? We've got to cover everything. (As if the world has no print when you go to write something.....) I laminated individual word sheets awhile ago and they have them in their Writer's Notebooks. Unfortunately, not allowed during the test....
