Like probably many teachers, I haven't done online teaching. What are some really good sites that might be helpful for 3rd graders or other elementary students that you would recommend?

Also, does anyone have any creative ideas to make this situation a bit more fun for students? Maybe posting some funny videos of the teacher teaching, reading stories aloud etc. I figure why not have some fun with this and make it a bit better for the students.

Several authors are posting on Twitter that they will start posting short videos of them reading aloud from their works; Kenneyh Oppel is one I remember offhand.

I’m thinking about finding some pen pals, preferably abroad? Not sure how that will go over with the virus (safe to send/handle mail?).., also thinking of just things to make things different/off technology, etc. My partner does crocheting or something like that.
