I wonder if this has ever happened before...elected officials refusing to vote and hiding. I understand they don't agree with what is being done but I wonder if it did more harm than good.

Same result either way... this at least put it on the national spotlight.

I think some Dems in Texas did this once?

As best I can tell the missing senators are still missing. What's the latest?...... Anyone??

Fleeing to another state for three plus weeks has to be very expensive. Unless they all have deep pockets they must be receiving financial aid from other organizations such as unions. Is this legal??

Could they not be staying with friends, relatives, or coworkers? Is there any evidence that they're being supported by other unions?

I heard on the news this morning that the Dems were claiming they couldn't come home because the Unions wouldn't let them!?!? Overall it sounded like they were insinuating they were being held hostage...

I don't know this whole situation is just crazy.

I went to Fox News to see if I could find the story where I heard that and I found this poll about tenure. You should vote and it will reveal the results. They're very lopsided.

No doubt they could be staying with friends, etc. It will be interesting to find out just how their expenses were covered. Hopefully they will return soon and resume their responsibilities. Most likely quorum busting was not part of their campaign promises.

Just as union-busting wasn't part of Walker's campaign promises.
