down here? I'm a little surprised that preschool is up at the top, but not special ed.

Anyway, I'm a para in Maryland with profoundly disabled children. My room has six kids, the teacher and myself. My teacher's pretty great.

I saw in another thread that paras do all the toileting? In my school, bathrooming is shared between teachers and paras, so I only have to do half of it. Six children are a lot for one person to bathroom, anyway. How do they do it?

I have a BA in Communications, but I'm thinking of going back for my Masters and becoming a teacher.

in the teacher forums, the sub-forums are listed in (generally) order of students' ages (youngest to oldest).

in the special interest forums (which includes SPED), the sub-forums are listed in alphabetical order.

    welcome to the forums! :D
