I am so sick of the hot weather. It stays pretty warm (90+ degrees) through October. Generally, Halloween and Thanksgiving are not cool days (I clearly remember seeing everyone sweating at our Halloween Parade last year).

Hoodies, jeans, and flip flops are ideal for me.

I'm SO ready! I hate for the weather to be nice during the week once school starts! Plus I also love my boots, and have so many cute sweaters I want to wear :)

OK, I will be the lone dissenter. Hate snow, and those fall days and falling leaves just scream winter is coming! I could easily live without winter, and I don't think I would miss fall all that much either. Before everyone piles on telling me I'm nuts, I know the fact that I don't like fall is not the popular sentiment, which I accept. I just love heat over cold.

I would like the 60s. Jacket and jeans weather. Non-sweltering classrooms.

I'm excited for the cooler weather- I had a pumpkin coffee week- but that stuff always gives me stomach problems. Every year I fall victim to a compromised digestive system for the high reward of that fall coffee taste. Every darn year. Even though I'm a teacher, that is something that I will never learn.

    I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT FALL!

The warm clothing, brisk nature walks, the hot soups, the endless cups of tea, the warm blankets...the naps under the warm blankets on a brisk day:p

I hate fall. I hate winter more, and I'm not a fan of spring.
    Fall means winter is coming.
Winter means four long months with such severe seasonal depression I have to go to therapy to keep myself from harming myself. And those stupid inversions we get, where's it's not only dark and cold, but the pollution in the air is so bad some days the health department warns against anyone going outside for any reason.
Spring is bipolar where I live. One day will be 90 degrees and then the next will be 20 degrees. The next day it will look 90, but be 20, and then the next day it will look 20 and be 90.
Summer? It's warm, there's no inversion and winter is so far off, it's something future Kellzy will have to deal with.

I am excited for cooler weather and boots. Oh and pumpkin cream cheese muffins from Starbucks! But I hate that fall leads into winter...I am not a winter/snow person!

Blech. No way! I'm hot weather all the way. Plus, we went from 90 earlier this week to 45 and sleeting today. Double blech.

This morning was a rea "FALL" wake up call! It was dark and wet out. I had to wear a JACKET this morning!!!! It's supposed to warm up a bit later but the sun will NOT be out until tomorrow. I won't complain though since I don't usually mind the cooler weather but I have not worn a jacket in so long it's hard to get used to again!

I want to move somewhere where the temperatures are eternally below 80 degrees at all times. I can handle cold. I can't handle too much heat.

I would have to say that the only thing I don't like about colder temperatures is having to scrape my windshield early in the morning.

The only thing about fall/winter is having to wake up early & get out of that cozy, warm bed when it's still dark outside to get ready for work! Fortunately, I haven't had to wake up early since April & may not have to into mid-2015! :D

Today didn't even hit 60. My classroom felt amazing.

I'm a bit torn- I know how long last winter was and how much I hoped for warmer weather. Of course, I was hoping for the 50s/60s, which seems to be where we will be for a bit. I'm good with that. But not too crazy about getting colder just yet.

I had to run a few errands today. Craft stores always put Christmas up early. But I walked into Big Lots and they had their entire Christmas tree section up :tired: They also have lighted Eiffel Towers. Not sure what that has to do with Christmas, but they are pretty.

ETA- part of me wants Christmas to come. This will be a looonnngg school year, so I want it to fly by. But my personal life can slow down. 171 school days to go. 47 until our first day off (election day). 57 until Thanksgiving Break. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Christmas stuff??? And I was surprised to see pumpkins out! I would never buy a pumpkin this early in September. I usually buy one to carve 2 weeks before Halloween. Every year things are coming out earlier and earlier.

One day at a time, friend. If you really want the time to fly, find a tv show that's already been finished, buy the complete series, and watch one or two episodes a night. I find that when I have something to look forward to, the work day seems to go much faster.

Oh my gosh!! Today the high will be 74. This is great compared to the upper 90s that we've been experiencing. Come on fall!!

And giraffe, I know how you feel! I'm a countdown queen when it comes to holidays!

The area where my local pumpkin patch is located is starting to get ready. I live in the suburb & some of you may think it's wierd, but my pumpkin patch is immediately surrounded by busy streets around the whole perimeter...not exactly the country field that one may envision.

It was 106 on the playground today so we kept the kids inside and the air conditioner failed :(. Thunder woke up the kids at nap time and only 2 slept.

A storm came through when I was driving from one job to the other and it was scary! Fallen trees, signs broken off, lots of pieces and parts on the freeway, hydroplaning, cars stopping because they were scared to move. :eek:hmy:

    I can't wait for fall!

I like cold and snow the best, but I'd take something below 70 now after being in the 90s for so long! I hate the heat unless I'm at the beach!

Fall came way too fast this year after a very slow start to summer. I feel like I didn't get to fully enjoy my summer wardrobe and I'm already bundling up!
