    I know I am! I feel bad though because DH and DD are at work/school today so I got up at normal time to make DH's coffee and clean. Oh the guilt! Anyway, we had Monday off because it's a holiday here in Mexico, and then we would have had Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving (since our school has so many Americans teaching there), so they just gave us the whole week! This is a nice little rest and soon it will be Christmas break (can you believe that??? Didn't we just start school???!).

    We are off for the entire week every year. It is great to be able to spend some time with your family after the craziness of starting a school year.

    It's perfect timing too. Such a great way to break up the craziness of the beginning of the year and the chaos before Christmas break. Just what I needed!

    me = jealous!

    We've got Wed-Fri off, so it's not bad.....but yesterday was crazy and I'm SURE today will be as well! I think it would make a heck of a lot more sense to have the whole week off. I wish they would just add those days onto our winter break because they're giving us 2 1/2 weeks off! Guess I shouldn't complain...think of me until 3:30!

    So it sounds like today is it and then the rest of the week for you. That's not bad at all. 2 & 1/2 weeks of for Christmas is pretty good as well! Last week my kids were crazy, especially near the end of the week knowing they'd be off this whole week. Many kids were going away too, which added to the element of excitement and not being able to focus.

    I am, PLUS a couple more weekdays, which makes me off 11 days in a row, YAY! :D

    I didn't do much this past weekend, except rent 9 DVDs, but yesterday (Mon.), I went to L.A. & walked around Farmer's Market & Little Tokyo. Next door to Farmer's Market, there's this small, but upscale outdoor mall where celebrities are known to frequent called the Grove. Now, I've never purposely sought out celebs, but yesterday, they were filming a segment of Extra, that celeb news show & Mario Lopez & his cohost were right there less than 10 feet in front of me.

    Today, I'm going to visit my parents & I have some goodies for them. I'm also bringing my dog over since they like to se him, plus, they said they'd watch him for a few days.

    Me! My district put both of our "conference release" days on Monday and Tuesday of this week so we'd get the whole week. It's really nice for traveling, but the thing is that everyone at home still has to work Monday and Tuesday! I got the whole week off last year too, but it was because of furlough days meaning we took a salary cut...so not as exciting. I also get a full 2 weeks for Christmas while everyone at home only gets 6 days.

    That's when I'm holding out until, too! (But I'm eastern time, so I only have two hours to go...)

    1/2 day tomorrow, Thursday and Friday off. So need the break. We had a week off with the hurricane, but that was NOT a vacation...stressful! Made up two days already on the canceled NJ Teachers Convention days we would have had off....just need a few days to rejuvenate.

    Yes--I have the whole week off. I've been sleeping in 'til noon every day! Much better than waking up at 5:30 a.m.

    I didn't realize how worn out I was! I've been running on fumes these past few weeks.
