My school will receive a brand new principal.
Who else is receiving a new principal?
No new principal for us. We did get a new vice-principal mid-March and hopefully he'll be with us for a while. Our principal has been at our school for 5 or 6 years, so I wouldn't be surprised if she gets transferred by the end of next year; they usually don't keep a principal in a school for much longer than 5 years in my district.
I am starting as a first-year teacher this year, but the principal I interviewed with is moving up to Superintendent and the high school principal is moving to the elementary school I am going to be teaching at.
My school hired a new principal just a few weeks ago. Our school is pretty excited for the change!
My "new" school is getting a principal. Actually he will be a teacher on special assignment until he gets his principal's license!
My school that I'm attending has a new Principal.
We're getting a new principal. We're kind of on the fence about it. It's going to be strange because he's taught at my building for about eight years, and I think it might be awkward on both sides. However, since we didn't make AYP last year it will be nice to have a principal who will be a leader instead of leaving everything up to us, which was what our last P did.
I am getting a new one at both of my schools. Looking forward to it.
Isn't it a coincidence that me and you have alot in common?
Is this Marcus903 with a new/different username?
Not me, thank God.
I would be perfectly content to work with our current principal until I retire.
Yes...he mentioned that in a post that was subsequently moderated...not sure about the guidelines for the re-entry of members who have been previously revoked...
We are; ours was hired just two weeks ago.
New P and AP last year; new AP this year.
I'm just a first year teacher but we did get a new P. I haven't met him yet but am looking forward to it!
My school has a new principal. Her first day was last Thursday.
My school just hired a new Principal and is in the process of hiring a new AP as well. So we will have totally, brand new administration. It will be interesting to see how this goes. Our former Principal has been at our school since '93 and has practically rebuilt our school from being a failing school to one of the most prominent schools in my area. As a matter of fact, we received the Promise Neighborhood grant from Barack Obama last spring and plan on getting another big grant this school year if all goes well. So needless to say, this change will be hard for some staff & parents but we have to go in it with an open mind I guess. This new Principal has some HUGE shoes to fill!
