I LOVE mine! My husband gave it to me for Valentine's Day last year, I know very romantic :). I haven't bought a cartridge yet b/c that's what I ask for on holiday's and my bday. I just recieved the Cursive 101 from my mom and used it for my classroom and name tags.

I'll be at Michael's before Saturday (need decoupage glue, some scrapbook paper, and a circular piece of wood from the wood crafts section)- but I think I may still wait for the Expression! :) I'm curious too, though- what's different about the two Cricuts?

Ms. Jasztal: I don't use mine for school, but if you want to create titles and whatnot for your bulletin boards, you should probably gravitate towards the Expression. It has a much larger cutting surface. I really only use mine for scrapbooking, so the Cricut Create is plenty big.

ETA: The machine on sale for $99 is not the Cricut Create, but the same size. It probably has a few less features but I would imagine it's a good deal.

Expression will let you cut up to 12" by 24" area

Create will let you go up to 12" tall because you can rotate the shape. If you don't rotate the shape then it cuts 6" by 12" area

Original ($99) up to 6" tall. The cutting area is 6" by 12"

Oh the Expression....because it is the biggest and I am sure you can make stuff smaller but with a smaller machine you can only go up to that size and not bigger....
So I am getting DH ready cuz I want it!

Get the Expressions. I have the smaller one and the size of the letters are too small for my big bulletin board:(.

Darling Husband-when I spent $400 or $500, it is best to prepare him ahead of time....
