What are the negatives at the k school? Are they things you could live with? Bear in mind that sometimes the places that seem oh-so-great sometimes turn out to have very toxic climates once you're within.
For some people, salary and location are the deal-breakers, for others, it's the grade, or the school culture, or the general vibe they got in the interview. It all depends on your situation.
If the not-do-great school had a drive-by every so often, then I'd go for the better school. Other than that, I'd have to know why one school is better than the other, how I felt about the administration and district philosophies, and the difference in programs to make a decision.
Which job do you feel you will make the most impact? Take that one.
With the limited information given here: I'd go with my gut and go with the better school. "Not-so-great" can quickly spiral into "bad".
I'd also pick the better school. You will probably eventually have the opportunity to transfer to kindergarten, even if it takes a few years.
Can you list your cons and pros for each?
I'd take the better school hands down. 1st is not that far off from K...it's not like the other school wanted you to teach 5th or something.
