I'm not big into game shows at all, but if I could pick one I'd probably choose Minute to Win It because I tend to have beginner's luck and I would probably do decently..plus it's ok to make a fool of myself :)

I am SO GOOD at Wheel of Fortune. Maybe everyone on there says that and then they freeze up or don't get a chance to play. But my BF loves watching it with me because of how freakishly good I am at solving the puzzles. I got one recently with no letters. lol. But they don't want people that are good - they want a bubbly personality. I actually auditioned in college, but they just want the people with the big personalities for camera - that is not me.

BF and I also talk about going on Lingo sometimes. haha. And I am taking the jeopardy test next month.

I am also a Wheel of Fortune whiz, in the late 80's, I lived with my grandpa and he would always say that I should go on the sow. Now my 13 year old often tells me that I should go on the show. I would love to, but I have never tried out. They were in New Orleans recently, but I didn't know that they were there. I would have gone to see if I could get on.

I love Jeopardy. I'm tempted to do the online test this time.

Price is Right would be a blast. However, since Bob Barker is done it would not be the same.

    Jeopardy!

As long as there isn't a category about opera. That would blow.

They have those alot. Who knows that much about opera? I told BF if I ever get on I will definitely need to brush up on Bible and opera trivia.

I would love to be on Jeopardy, but feel that I would have a better chance to win on Who Wants to be a Millionaire since I think it would take be a while to develop the timing needed to be the first to buzz in on Jeopardy. Also, I would love to be on Big Brother...I love analyzing the strategies that help people to win on that show!

I tried out for Jeopardy once, and made it into the second round. You had to do a paper/pencil test, then they called back those that got the most right...I think it was like 26/30 or something (it was a few years ago). Then we got to use signalers and answer a few questions. I answered one, but I swear I had Albert Einstein himself in my group, and he made us all look bad! I didn't get called back a third time.

I really, really, really wanted to be on World Series of Pop Culture when it was on (VH1). I am FULL of useless knowledge.

    (quietly raising my hand)

Those are the questions I tend to get right. Of course, in the interest of full disclosure, I went to a boarding school for the performing arts and my roommate for three years was an opera major.

I LOVE Minute to Win it! I would have a blast on that show, but I probably wouldn't win much money. LOL.

On my cruise last summer, they offered an "Amazing Race: Cozumel" and my family participated in that. We came in dead last, but we had so much fun!

I recently read an article that said that they are made to guess vowels in order to make it easier for those at home to play. I always wondered why people would guess for vowels when they already clearly knew the answer!

I just read an article that said the producers are looking for people who have a really great backstory or shining personality. The guy the interviewed had been on like 3 game shows!

I'm more suited for Wheel of Fortune or Price is Right. The only time I do well on Jeopardy is if it's Science questions. Other than that I have no idea how those contestants know so much random knowledge, until I watched it with my husband. You just have to be knowledgeable about a little bit of everything. He'd make a great Jeopardy contestant.

The trick with Jeopardy is that you have to be willing to mash the button before you know whether you know the answer. Inside my head, however, competing for space with the Know-It-More, is the Editor. That sort of competition is Not Good for one's reaction time.
