    Which bulletin board fabric? (w/thumbnails)

Which bulletin board fabric do you like best? It'll be going on at least 3 (maybe up to 5) bulletin boards in my Science classroom. There's not a lot of color in the room, but I'm kind of going for a lime/teal color scheme. If I use a less-colorful fabric, I'll use colored border paper. Thank you so much for looking and giving input!

I like the ones ith green in them, but I'm wondering if the patterns will detract from whatever you are featuring on your boards?

Have you ever heard of using a sheet? Alceacc used to pst about buying a cheap sheet and using that....I've also heard people put fabric up on BBs using liquid starch.

Hmm, I was wondering if the prints would be too busy. I feel like buying sheets would be just as expensive, if not more so... but I have to go to Target for something else so maybe I'll see if they have any on clearance!

Sheets may be about same cost but can be used for years! Also other fabric including burlap. I staple fabric to board. I prefer solid or subtle backgrounds then add color and print with the display and border.

I love the zigzag of 4 and 7.The gray would be nice, because it would allow you to have colorful bulletin board letters that would pop against it.

I suggest a plastic tablecloth from the dollar store. Cheap and looks nicer (imo).

I get very cheap sheets during back to school sales (but I live in a college town, so they stock up for dorm rooms). They work great and I like solids so that I can change up borders easily and it still looks good/ matches. They were cheaper than fabric store near me. That said, I like your subtle patterns better. I am easily distracted and the busier patterns would be my downfall.

    4, 7, or 8.

I have fabric on my boards and LOVE it. One of them is black with white polka dots. It has yellow border. It looks great. Your gray/white polka dots would look nice with teal border and lettering.

Thank you all for your ideas so far! Fabrics #7 and #8 are out of stock, much to my dismay! I bought enough fabric for one board in a charcoal gray with tiny black polka dots. It is super cute without being visually overwhelming. I bought lime green border paper (couldn't find teal as an option), enough for all of the boards. Now to find/decide on fabrics for the others. (I knew I wasn't going to buy it all today because I have a coupon to use tomorrow, anyway!)

I like the gray with small polka dots. Endless border possibilities. :)

I picked four but also liked the grays. The others seemed like they would be distracting.
