I applied for the job on Monday. They called me yesterday because I guess I didn't attach all of my paperwork and had to fax it in. They called me just now to set up the appointment. It's for an afterschool program so it'll work with my homeschooling job and my tutoring jobs. I'm just a bit nervous about it. I'll need to read up on the school program a bit more and all that. Whew. But it'll be nice to get some more money so that I can buy a car that was made within the past ten years.
Well, I was offered the job this morning. Now, my question is about negotiating the wage. Any tips on doing that?
First of all, YAY!!! You must've truly impressed them. As for salary, be honest that you are still relatively new to the region and are still understanding the cost of living.
