in an actual store, not online? The closest "teacher store" is lakeshore but it's about a 40 minute drive one way and I didn't want to go unless I have to. We have an online system, but I do NOT understand it at all, and apparently neither does anyone else. I held out thinking SOMEONE would have to know, but every person I've asked just tells me it's too much of a hassle/is unreliable and they just use a paper grade book. I'm not happy about it, but it looks like that's the way I'm going to have to go. We're already 2 weeks into the school year and of course I've been saving things, but they're piling up. That was one of my big projects for this weekend...so I need somewhere where I can go in and buy it now, because I don't have time to wait for the shipping.

Both the Dollar Tree and Target have them in the dollar section. The paper is kind of thin.
I know Michaels had them with their back-to-school teacher stuff.
I'd imagine Staples/Office Max/Office Depot would all have them, too.

I made my own on Word. They also have them for download on their website. I printed the pages myself and put them in a small three-ring binder.

Try www.learnboost.com a very easy online grade book. And I do mean VERY easy. And free!

Even if you don't like all the features of your online grading system, can't you use it to print a blank grid with the kids' names? I use what ours calls an attendance report with no dates. It saves me from writing out all the names in a grade book, I handwrite assignment titles at the top, and use that as a grade book. I generally make a new one every three weeks or so and just staple them together.

I do use our online grading system; I just think it is easier to mark on paper first and then enter all the marks later.

I do this too for my HW score log when I walk around checking HW.

Also--won't you have to learn to use it for submitting grades? I know we have to post grade electronically every 2 weeks (though I update it every time there is an assignment). It's definitely worth learning.

Nope...we just fill out report cards at the end of each quarter. They're not submitted electronically.

Waterfall, hit Staples or Office Max. Either should have a selection.

We do submit grades electronically yet I use a paper grade book.

ETA, sorry, I didn't see that you had already found one.
