I only have 2 more days!! Yes, I'm just that lucky! Friday is the last day for kids, and then I have next week to clean up. We started school in August, skipped a Spring break and had 5 days of Saturday School so we could end earlier. It was worth it!
Students: June 29th @ 2:45 pm Teachers: June 30th...I'm sure that we will be able to leave after 1 pm.
Sounds like most end right at the beginning or end of June. I really liked skipping spring break. It seems like after that break, teachers and students all get into vacation mode and you lose the momentum.
Not around here, after spring break is when u go hard preparing for testing. People tend to lose momentum after testing though.
We end June 10th. I would HATE skipping breaks and going on saturday! That sounds terrible! I would so much rather have a longer year with breaks. I always feel "refreshed" after breaks and feel like I do a better job. I'm already convinced I'm going to be bored silly this summer. I'm working really hard at finding a job, but there just isn't anything around for summer. We are a winter touristy area and everything shuts down in the summer. I could easily go for a shorter summer with more breaks added in during the year instead.
June 28 I end at my current job. July 15 I start at my new Job as the P. Teachers will be setting up all summer and we have a few required meetings throughout the summer (new school), but they don't officially begin until the Friday before labor day. Students begin the following Wednesday.
End June 18th. No start date for the new school year yet. There are rumors in a local district they may put it off until October!!! and shorten the school year to 160 days - wow!
June 15th is our last day I think. It's coming up so fast I barely know what to do. I feel like my class is just finally getting it together and able to work hard all day.
Our district the Friday before Memorial day... other districts in our county not until later in June!!!
Last day for seniors is technically May 27th, but many will keep working to boost their grades. My grades are due June 10th. Graduation is the next day. My last day is June 17th but I immediately launch into a month of summer school on June 20th.
June 10, and we also start in August and don't have much of a spring break. Brendan, congrats on P! I don't think I knew that you got that position.
June 9th for the students, 13th for teachers. We started the last week of August, and had a short Christmas break.
