I found this pinned on Pinterest, absolutely LOVE it, but am not sure how to do it. I know the background would be construction paper taped together I'm sure, but not sure how they were able to make words be so long on paper.

I see I will become addicted to pinterest finding ideas for my classroom...

I love it. You can buy special paper to print posters. But to keep it simple I would tape pages together.

I had a longer version that was typed and fit on one piece of paper. I put it on the bulletin board right outside my door my first few years of teaching.

It looks like it's just taped together. I would also laminate it when I was done. We can't have anything on our door due to fire codes, so you may want to check that this is okay.

That is so cool! I want to do something like that for my room. I might just do it on a couple of big pieces of paper though rather than a separate page for each word like they did here.

    Looks cool!

So, how do I actually pin something? I just joined Pinterest less than a week ago and have yet to play around with the site. I clicked "repin" but it wan't added to my pins (I have none so far) so what do I actually need to do so I have it pinned? Thanks to anyone who can help!

I love that one too. I'm glad you asked this question because I was wondering the same thing.

That's so cool! I would love to send my child to a classroom with that on the door! :)

That is kinda cool, but it would need to go on the bulletin board or wall next to the door. It bothers me having anything on the door.

I haven't been hired yet, but will definitely ask about fire code information. I know that schools I student taught in, we were not allowed to cover the window on the door, except for a 'code red' when danger may be present.

Not sure how to pin items yet, I'm waiting to hear back for 'approval' of my invite.

AlwaysAttend - thank you - definitely bookmarked that site.

They just used regular paper. There is a seam in some of the words. I've made really long banners that way and then just laminated the whole thing.

Did you download the "Pin it" button? Once it's downloaded and you are registered, you click the pin it button when you visit a page with an inspirational picture and it'll get saved to your name (Name the category you want it to be saved in).

If you click "repin" to a picture you find on Pinterest, it should get pinned automatically to your page

Love the text on the door btw!

That was pretty good. You can design it through designer colorful papers. You can get some common text already printed on the paper, while for the other part you need to show your art..:)
