i like carbs when I am sick. I don't ever want veggies and fruit if I don't feel good. Probably not a good thing. But I usually like noodles, rice, bread, etc.

Soft boiled eggs, my mom always made them when we were sick. WHen she was sick last year I made them everyday for her.
BUt I will also do jello, gingerale, chicken soup and white rice cooked with chicken broth.

There are two main things I eat when i am sick: Creamed Chipped Beef from Stoufer's and mashed potatoes with gravy from KFC. Both are soft, plain, and more substantial than chicken broth (I don't care for soup with noodles).

When I am sick, I usually don't want anything. But when I am getting better, I just want wet fruit--grapefruit, canteloupe, watermelon, oranges, grapes, pineapple. Nothing like bananas or apples--just good juicy stuff. Or I eat cereal--Raisin Bran, Capt Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Kind of an odd combination huh?
    :)

I feel sick tonight... nothing sounds good. Dh wants me to eat the rest of a burrito from Sunday-ugh! All I want is the apple pie and ice cream from the 'what's for dinner' thread. But that will probably make me throw up. But then again, maybe I'd feel better after that.

Soft boiled eggs, absolutely. With toast. I like lots of liquids when I'm sick, and chicken soup is a must.

Whether I'm sick w/ a stomachache or a cold/sore throat, I don't really eat much. If I have a cold, I can't taste much anyway, so it would be a waste to eat some good food that I really like.

I may eat Jell-o, pudding, yogurt, fruit. Soup's good too. An egg sandwich maybe (or just the eggs).

    Buttered toast
    Tea Tea Tea!

And when I go to sleep at night, I need a bottle of very diluted iced tea. My mom did this when we were little, I don't really know why, and now I need it when I don't feel good. I am sure it's psychological, but it always makes me feel better, even if I'm making it for myself.
