Went to a new school district this year. Want to go back to my old, smaller one. When and how should I make contact with principal of old one to let them know I'm interested and would LOVE to return? Is it too early? Do I send a letter, email? HELP!!!

I would think that the earlier you can let them know you're interested in returning, the better. Do you know when your old district begins planning for next year? My current district is already well into that process, and our in-district transfer season has been open for a few weeks already.

Do you have a good relationship with a particular administrator? If so, I think that a phone call or pre-arranged visit would be the best option.
