LMAO. That is pure hilarity. I wonder what the teacher thought before mom sent the note?

When my nephew was little, he had to draw a picture of his family. He did, with mommy and daddy and his big brother. But the picture of daddy only had one eye.

The teacher was in an absolute tizzy. She called in guidance, who called the school psychologist. Did he think his father only saw half of what was going on? Did he think his dad only loved him half as much???Or that his father only loved one of the boys?

When they finally got around to calling my sister, she explained: her husband had lost one eye to cancer. He really DID only have one eye.

As Freud said: "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

That picture always makes me laugh. I remember that picture from my first year teaching so this kid has to at least be in middle school. I wonder if she runs upon this picture occasionally. Hopefully she has a good laugh when she does.
