what is the one thing, you never seem to have enough of?

Can you tell I have babies on the brain! ;) But seriously, my husband and I are really thinking of trying to conceive...may be heading to a pre-conception appointment in the next couple of weeks!

HAHA Glenda, I was just about to post the same thing! ...especially considering my little one is having trouble sleeping tonight. It's all worth it though!

I agree that sleep & your own free time definitely flies out the window. Plus, parents have to make sacrifices. It's no longer about them, it's about their child(ren).

Are you asking what you don't have enough of before having children or after having children.

We keep considering children too. But think we don't have enough money to pay for child care.

There's never enough sleep or money.

But tha's OK-- those snuggles make up for it all!

Sleep is definitely the hardest thing to manage. Or lack thereof. And, even though it gets better after infancy, there are still times when you lose a lot of sleep...my girls are 10,9 and 6, and each of them has had sleeping issues on and off....plus those tummy-ache nights and nightmare nights....

Space...although we decided we do have enough space so it's all a waiting game now.

We actually are thinking we have enough space for a baby and a dog now. I think we're nuts, but I'm excited!

Sleep, hands, space, money, time, AA batteries...
    Occasionally not enough patience

In great supply? LOVE, guilt, hugs, kisses, snuggles, constant worry, laughter, take your breath away moments that make your heart stop, your chest ache and your eyes well up...

Ya, I meant after a baby comes. Oddly enough, I didn't even think about sleep! Space and money came to mind...

I figured I'd ask though, because I really don't think I'll know what I need more of until it actually happens. Being teachers we always want to be prepared...but I guess there are some things you can't fully prepare for, but I'll try my best! :)

sleep, patience, free time with spouse, alone time, did I mention sleep?

But, it gets easier over time, and when you start to have "deep" conversations with them it's all worth it. Good luck and enjoy it!

Diapers and wipes. Spray and wash. My friends were kind enough to not buy me a bunch of clothes (got lots of hand me downs from random places). Instead, they gave me Target gift cards which I saved to buy the above mentioned diapers, wipes, laundry detergent... Seems so long ago now... still need that laundry det. though!

He's so adorable...He'd like everyone to think he's a tough guy but he's really a big old marshmallow inside. He came home for: my cooking (and laundry skills) and to watch the first day of the NFL season with Dad and bro.
