We got our schedules on the last day of school ~ June 2. I am VERY pleased with my schedule for next year. My admin listened and gave me two sections of AP Euro :thumb: AND most importantly, I only have THREE preps this year instead of the four I had this year :woot: :woot:

So next year I will have

2 sections of AP United States History
2 sections of AP European History
    2 sectins of World History

I LOVE my new schedule  it's awesome

Mine is the same as this year -- 3 sections of Journalism I, 2 sections of Newspaper and 2 sections of Yearbook.

They did switch my conference to 1st period instead of 2nd, which I think will be nice (to distribute newspapers, etc) -- and I will have 2x as many Journalism I students as I did tis year (I only had a 18 this year) but that's how I wanted it -- I approved many more students for my class than my predecessor did.

Mine is only a little different as we're moving from a block schedule to a traditional one:

    1st Period: World Geography
    2nd Period: Ancient/Medieval History
    3rd Period: Modern/20th Century History
    4th Period: Ancient/Medieval History
    5th Period: Modern/20th Century History
    6th Period: AP European History
    7th Period: Prep

I don't know how they do the scheduling for middle school and high school, but for us in elementary (primaria), we won't get our schedules until the fall when we return.

I do not know my actual schedule but I know that I am teaching 1 section of Chemistry. 1 section of Physics, 1 section of AP Biology, and 2 sections of Biology. I am at a new school and kind of nervous to be teaching AP. I have not taught an AP course in 6 years.

I don't know the exact schedule (I assume I'll still have a 7 a.m. first period, since I have for several years and I like it) but I know I have 4 sections of 12CP and one of 12S English. Very happy to be back to all seniors.

I'll let you know WHAT I'm probably teaching when I find out-- it should be by Tuesday.

Of course, that's subject to change over the summer.

And I won't get my exact schedule until a few days before Labor Day.

When won't know our exact schedule until about a week before school starts. That's been the practice in both high schools in which I've taught.

Of course, generally we'll be teaching the same thing we taught this year. All of us were happy with our subjects and grades, and our scores were good. There's no real reason for the admin to move us.

Yep, 4 preps. But I've taught them all before. It's been 3 years since I taught Geography, but I've done the others all last year. We're switching away from the block due to constantly dropping test scores. The admin felt that more continuity could be established by having classes meet every day.

As of right now, I am teaching

Fall: 1 period Pre Calc and 1 period Int Algebra... the other period is up in the air at the moment and basically will be until we find out whether our other math teacher has been laid off or not. If he is, it'll most likely be Geometry, if he's not.. it could be something fun like Calc or Stats, or it'll be another period of Pre Calc or Int Algebra depending on the class sizes.

Spring: 1 period Pre Calc and 2 periods Int Algebra.

I'll have four sections of Latin I and two sections of Latin II Honors, Latin III Honors, and AP Latin Vergil. Those three-way combo classes will be tough, but I can handle it.

(Most teachers at my school teach five out of the six periods each day, but my admin asked me to sell a prep and take on an additional course, so I did.)

My school got extra funds to extend the school day. We will have 6 70 minute periods. Academics meet everyday. I will be teaching a period of Western Civ. Honors to Freshman and a period of a Trial Advocacy class.

Right now I have 4 sections of 7th Reg. LA, 2 sections of 7th Adv. LA, and one Speech and Debate. This could - and probably will - change.
