Not exactly teaching related, but what's everyone's favorite albums that have come out in the last few years?

I listen to a lot of metal (considering my username that shouldn't be a surprise.) My favorites in the last couple years have been:
Purple by Baroness (psychedelic sludge band from the deep South)
Psychic Warfare by Clutch (sometimes bluesy hard/southern rock band)
ComfortZone by Beardfish (Swedish prog rock)
I Heard You Listening by echolyn (proggy Americana rock band)

What have y'all been listening to? (Just so everyone knows, I will be nothing but positive. If it's not my thing, I won't insult you or your taste. I'm just curious as to what people like.)

I like most music, but I prefer music (music production process) that you can feel if that makes sense. I prefer country and pop, but I do like most genres.

Someone asked me this question recently and I had to think back to the last time I actually listened to music. It's probably been at least 4 years. I didn't even realize.

I stopped listening to current music in the 70s. I really couldn't tell you much about any singer or song after that. Give me 60s music any day!

I stopped listening to new music in the 90's. My favorite music was 70's to 80's music.

I don’t listen to as much music these days. When I do it’s Andrea Bocelli and during the holidays Christmas music.

I'm looking forward to listening to Christmas music. It's the only time I turn on the radio while driving.

I am a professional jazz musician so jazz is my favorite type of music to listen to. I listened to top 40 radio until around 2003 and still like some pop/rock songs from up until then and a few from later. I am not a big fan of country music or heavy metal.

Now I'm obsessed with The Weekend, I think this man outpaces the time.

I agree. The 70s was very good and the 80s was the best. I still listen to that music all of the time. No wonder those bands still play even though they are now aged in their 60s and 70s. It is tough to get tired of great music.

Covid gave me time to enjoy and taste new music again.
I like Greta Van Fleet when I'm feeling all grown up, but that's not near as fun as Turnstile. Since my P introduced me to them I have all the Turnstile releases. Their latest, "Glow On" is my pick for album of the year. I think these guys will be mainstream radio before you know it.
A big "F_ Yeah" to the Europeans for keeping glam metal alive: Hardcore Superstar and Reckless Love have been a couple bands I have been enjoying since Covid.

I like Spanish guitar music. Unfortunately at the moment i am very full with all the pupils, essay help https://www.topessaywriting.org/write-papers-for-money (my second job, which i got in order to pay bills) and the family so i don't listen to music at all. Maybe it will change when my wife will start working again.
