I have a couple of favorites at the moment. "Man who Can't Be MOved", "Come On, Get Higher", and "I'm Yours". The last one is by Jason Mraz. I don't know which groups/artists sing the others. Whenever these come on the radio I begin to karaoke in my car. There are also some great dance songs I'm loving right now too, but I don't know all there titles!

"Free to be Me" by Francesca Battistelli

Love, love, love the lyrics-I belt it when it comes on.

    At twenty years of age
I'm still looking for a dream
A war's already waged for my destiny
But You've already won the battle
And You've got great plans for me
    Though I can’t always see

‘Cause I got a couple dents in my fender
Got a couple rips in my jeans
Try to fit the pieces together
    But perfection is my enemy
On my own I'm so clumsy
But on Your shoulders I can see
    I'm free to be me

Call me old, but Colour My World by Chicago has been my favorite since 1970. It transcends about 6 boyfriends and 1 ex-husband. I also love You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban.

It is my favorite current song. Is that what the op asked? Or did they want to know our favorite song at this time?

I really like Jai Ho, I'm Yours, Just Dance, Poker Face and Love Story. Although Love Story is being a bit overplayed so I must say I liked it more a month or so ago, but I still like it.

I've really been digging one of the songs on the new U2 album, No Line On The Horizon. It's called "Moment of Surrender."

It's about a junkie who has what's commonly referred to in 12 step programs as a "moment of clarity."

    "Moment Of Surrender"

    I tied myself with wire
To let the horses run free
    Playing with the fire
Till the fire played with me

    The stone was semi-precious
    We were barely conscious
Two souls too smart to be
    In the realm of certainty
    Even on our wedding day

    We set ourselves on fire
Oh God, do not deny her
It’s not if I believe in love
But if love believes in me
    Oh, believe in me

    At the moment of surrender
    I folded to my knees
I did not notice the passers-by
And they did not notice me

I’ve been in every black hole
At the altar of the dark star
My body’s now a begging bowl
    That’s begging to get back
Begging to get back to my heart
To the rhythm of my soul
To the rhythm of my unconsciousness
    To the rhythm that yearns
    To be released from control

I was punching in the numbers
    At the ATM machine
I could see in the reflection
A face staring back at me
    At the moment of surrender
    Of vision over visibility
I did not notice the passers-by
And they did not notice me

I was speeding on the subway
Through the stations of the cross
Every eye looking every other way
Counting down ’til the pain will stop

    At the moment of surrender
    Of vision of over visibility
I did not notice the passers-by
And they did not notice me

I don't know if this is a new song, but I love, love, love the song Lullaby by the Dixie Chicks. I never listened to them before, but when I started listening to Pandora (Internet radio) it came up on my playlist.

now I can't get enough of this song!!

    "Second Chance" by Shinedown
"Dirt Room" by Blue October (warning: the lyrics are pretty disturbing until you know the meaning of the song--the singer is a recovering drug addict and the song is meant for his ex-dealer).
