lol....straight and to the point. Me: I have Ulcerative Colitis. It's actually in remission now. (Thank you JESUS) I also have a pinched nerve in my neck. Can't wait to hear.
Haha, I love this post, so I have to reply. -Crohn's disease -Messed-up feet (hammer toes, bunions) -Slight scoliosis...One of my legs is about 1 inch longer than the other, and it just throws everything out of whack. I think that's it.
Yes, both are wrong with me. I edited the way I wrote it. I have no clue why I wrote it that way. lol... Too much going on in my brain.
Skin issues (Psoriasis psucks--sorry, couldn't resist), occasional stomach problems, and the fact that over-excitement about the school year interferes with my love of napping.
I'm waiting on test results for lupus. I've been tested for this by five different doctors so I'm guessing its only a matter of time before the test for antibodies is positive. Other than that, I'm diabetic (type 1.5) and have MTHFr, a blood clotting problem.
Me too, on the MTHFr. This has been a recent discovery for my family members and we are still trying to learn the implication. All in all, here is my list of flaws: 1. MTHFr 2. Severe Reactive Hypoglcemic 3. Hypothyroid 4. My left foot has two bones that are permanently broken 5. My hair is graying
Ulcerative Colitis Epilepsy Overweight Stuck with the UC and epilepsy and do my best to stay positive about them. Working hard on the fatness issue, though. That's one thing I can change.
Cystic Fibrosis CF related diabetes and CF related arthritis I like to think that these aren't thing that are wrong with me, they just make me special it works...most of the time:lol: Oh, and I use way too many cups/mugs per day. That probably bothers my husband more than the CF!
I'm sorry to hear that, chebrutta. I'm thankful to be healthy. My only issues are different seasonal allergies that combine to last through all 4 seasons and carpal tunnel, which I've been able to manage by seeing a chiropractor.
Fibromyalgia Hypnosis (rounded back) Flat feet that make buying shoes a chore Currently in the first months of my second frozen shoulder, just as the first one has nearly resolved. Another two years of pain and limited use, but at least I know it will go away eventually. It's more annoying this time because it's my dominant arm.
Hmm, High blood pressure, especially for my age Occasional irregular Pap tests (I keep catching it before full-blown cervical cancer, thankfully) Pigeon toes and high arches that make running a challenge
Arthritis in my hip Excema during the winter months Hemmerrhoids:sorry: I think too much. I think things are worse than they are.
My main health issue is pelvic floor dysfunction, which I am trying to correct using physical therapy. It is quite an interesting process! But, I gotta get it fixed, or I won't be able to have children.
*recovering well from foot surgery *sinus issues every time the weather changes *sympathy crier-My mother jokes that I could be rented out as a mourner for anyone lacking in that department! *master worrier *hate being told what to do
Nothing chronic. Other than needing stiches at my eyebrow at age 2 when my mom & I got into a car accident, I ruptured my Achilles tendon. That's it.
Meniere's Syndrome Borderline osteoporosis in lower spine Abdominal adhesions, which are occasionally painful, from emergency C-section and hysterectomy (2 surgeries for the price of one!)
*Migraines *Vitamin D deficient * borderline high cholesterol *sleep apnea My doctor says that the Vitamin D deficiency & the high cholesterol is what could be causing my exhaustion, but then she sent me to the sleep doctor. I found a couple of weeks ago that I have sleep apnea. Soon I will have a CPAP machine.
Nothing major wrong with me until age 31. That's when a botched gall bladder surgery caused months of issues that eventually led to kidney failure. Now my issues are all related to the 100 pounds I gained in 3 months for the kidney issues. I'm down from 16 meds to 5. abnormal protein levels in urine gout high cholesterol high blood pressure The treatment effects were bad, but the other option was death. Perspective helps. I've had allergies my whole life. Now I take two meds daily and four shots weekly.
-allergic to dust/dust mites -mild asthma -wide feet...finding cute sandals can be a problem! -low vitamin D (it was literally a "4" a few years ago and should be around 80 I believe)
Torn labrum (needs surgical repair) Plantar fasciitis Knee that (at least) needs scope; possible ACL Need to go to the dentist; haven't been in years Nagging neck/back Balding
This is me too! chebrutta! Lisa. I don't really have any health issues. What's wrong with me is that my hair is thinner than I want it.
Weight loss surgery failure. Lost down to 140 but gained a lot back from snacking. Not up to where I was before surgery but back to a miserable state. Feet hurt and had to splurge for good sneakers and special inserts last year. Lower back problems. BP keeps getting higher and higher and it was normal. Have had anemia and needed an iron infusion. Probably need it checked again. Take celexa for mild depression and to keep from biting heads off of people. Allergies to mold, cats and seasonal crap. Blessed that nothing is major. My husband has more issues than I do.
Menopause. So glad my new classroom has an adjustable thermostat and hope my students own sweatshirts. Soon to be "empty nest syndrome." to all those with health issues.
Nothing serious at the moment. Although I'm a huge hypochondriac so I'm sure I will find something eventually. (seriously, I probably shouldn't have even read this topic.) Sorry to hear about all those with serious health issues.
1. Pseudotumor cerebri 2. I am deaf in one ear, have a blind spot in my left field of vision, and am a hemiplegic from a bout of bacterial meningitis I had as a teenager. Sending hugs and love to all you folks with medical troubles. I am so sorry.
I have stretched the MCL's in both of my knees almost to the point of tearing and dislocated my left kneecap last week! Ahhhh!
Liver problems Migraines Diabetes A plethora of food and environmental allergies Rapid cycling manic-depressive disorder, which has hospitalized me in the past. Currently dealing with lots of lower back pain, but the doctor said it's nothing serious. I'm pretty much a walking trainwreck . A lot of my problems have been attributed as side effects from when I was class 3 morbidly obese. I'm back down to a normal weight, but the problems persist.
Epilepsy Dysgraphia ADHD Hypotonia Underdeveloped Muscles Dysmetria Severe social anxiety disorder, social phobia, and generalized anxiety disorder Latent Nystagmus Left Amblyopia A slight structural abnormality of the heart brought on by Acute Myocarditis that occurred sometime in the mid-2000s (Unknown exactly when by my doctors) Fine and gross motor dysfunction/incoordination I think that covers most of the big ones
I don't think I will ever complain about my health again! I'm sorry for those of you who deal with multiple issues.
I laugh during uncomfortable/bad situations -Had to warn my P about this so he didn't think I was being disrespectful. Strength and love to all those with health problems, I'm sure we'll all be there at some point!
