1st, get the mail (if I know the mailman's been there). Then, immediately, greet my dog, change into lounging clothes & wash off my makeup. :)

I check in on Brian and Julia, give them both a kiss, and ask about their day. (Kira is with me in the car; I pick her up on the way home.)

Then I get changed, check the mail and email, and start to think about dinner.

A few days of the week I don't get home until around 7 due to my tutoring schedule...at that point I've been out of my house for 12 hours!
First, ALWAYS When I come in from anywhere, I wash my hands.

A little nibble: a handful of nuts or a few crackers or a piece of cheese

A cup of tea or a glass of wine

    Kiss the hubs

    Put on yoga pants

Figure out dinner...often dh has made it. He rocks.

Say "hi" to Lauren and ask about her day.

Change into jeans or sweat pants and a hoodie.

Check email and mail (I pick it up on the way home).

    Start dinner.

Shoes off, socks off, jewelry off.

I'm like cza, wash my hands. All those germs, blech!

Often, contacts come out. My eyes need rest.

Change clothes, check homework while starting dinner.

I wash my hands. Even before I pet my dog. I'm so paranoid about school germs.

Ah, so nice to see how many of us show love to our furry friends!

True, I don't want to touch him until I wash hands.

I start supper the minute I walk in the door since I usually get home between 6:00-6:30. Whether it's putting water on to boil or pre-heating the oven, my first stop is the kitchen!

Then I change into comfy clothes and check my e-mail.

I watch TV while supper is cooking and while I eat my meal.

Change into comfy clothes and Watch MoMo (Elmo) with my little boy. As soon as he walks in the house, he starts saying, "MoMo, MoMo." :) He's sooooooo getting some new Elmo DVDs for Christmas. I'm really getting tired of Shape-o-bots and Elmo's World: Birthday edition, lol.

I say hello to DH and greet our dog.
Wash my hands (always do this whenever I come in.)
Go to the bathroom! It is a joke in our house about me being in my "office."

Then I usually get some water, sit in living room, put on news, check emails.

Then get up and make dinner.

I'm sure you know but you should really go pee during the day. It's not healthy to hold it in at all. I go pee about every hour.

First thing I do, well, I take off my shoes, I wash my hands, and put my purse/things away.

Say hi to DH, hit the bathroom, usually change into sweats and slippers. Then I sit in my spot on the couch and immediately have both cats in my lap. They need "lap time," and I like it too!

Put my bag in the computer room, take off coat, and hug my two kids, but not necessarily in that order. My general routine also includes washing my hands, getting a drink (often tea, or just a big cup of water), and sitting down for a few minutes. I might check facebook, might not. Definitely have to give both kids, and husband, hugs and kisses and ask how they are doing.

It is so amazing how much my routine has changed since my kids are on their own. Last year I would rush home to get dinner ready so it would be ready when my starving son would get home from band practice. Now my husband and I ride together and often stop at the grocery to pick up something for supper. I used to make a huge grocery trip every weekend. When we get home, I take off my rings and change clothes immediately and then sit with my cat and hubby and watch the news. After the news, I will start dinner and we eat. Then I take a shower. The big thing that has changed is that since I ride with my husband and he gets off about 45 minutes after me and I no longer have to rush home for anything, I check and make sure that everything is ready for the next day before I leave school instead of at night after my shower. I do grade and do basic lesson plans on Sunday afternoon but I do very little work at home during the week.

I change, take out my contacts, wash up, get a glass of tea, feed the animals, and then start on the human food for dinner.

After dinner I do nothing productive (I'll read or surf the web) for about thirty minutes and then start cleaning, grading, laundry, and all those grown up things that never seem to go away.

Take off my ring, put on my PJs, let the dogs out, and chill out on Facebook or read a book for a while until it's time to get dinner started.

I wish that I got to relax when I got home. My routine is to run in the door, wash my hands, grab something to eat, and teach piano and cello lessons until about 8:00. Then I get things ready for the next day (with my LTS) or look for a sub job if I don't have one.

I usually don't get home until after 9:00 because I either: work at my 2nd job, go to my boyfriend's apartment, work out, and/or stay at school until late.

When I do finally get home I open my mail and pet my cats. :)

I check the mail while waiting for the elevator. When I get upstairs and into our apt., I wash my hands, greet the dog and then either plop on the couch or take the dog out (depending on how she is acting at that very moment- sometimes she doesn't have to go).

    It varies, but normally

    -Put key in door
-Fend off handsy neighbor who is always lurking
-Nudge door with foot because it always sticks
    -Pee
    -Turn on iPod dock
-Ask my magic 8 ball a question or fiddle around with stuff, then go into the kitchen and figure out what to bake.

Check the mail, wash my face (I don't feel relaxed until I've done this step), sit in the recliner and check Facebook and a number of blogs, watch TV for about 30 minutes, cook dinner with my wife.
