TeacherNY, yes, the Pro Bass Shops Islamorada Fish Co Rest. has alligator on the menu too if you happen to have that place in your area. I like alligator & the frog legs are a milder chicken flavor in my opinion.
This was a small restaurant called the Voodoo Grill. It was really cool! Tonight my husband is going to throw some stuff on the BBQ. I get a night off from cooking!!
My 15-month-old had scallops for dinner last night, too! They're not my favorite, but my kid couldn't get enough. =) Tonight we are going out for dinner, but I'm not sure where.
Chicken breast, sweet potato, and broccoli all baked together in the oven with olive oil and a few other seasonings. Delicious! Thank you Pinterest!
Making a Meal Train meal for a colleague, so I made extra! Beef stew, corn muffins, fruit, and fudge.
Last night was chicken picata, summertime couscous (couscous, chickpeas, tomatoes, green onions, garlic, lemon, and feta cheese), and steamed green beans. Tonight is leftovers.
Small Naan bread cilantro, pesto, & tomato pizza Some meatless garlic parmesan "chicken" bites Chicken Samosas
Big salad...we've been munching on appetizers and sipping mint juleps (In 'moderation'..no worries for those who would judge ...)
Come on...guzzle those juleps!!! I just made myself a tuna salad sandwich tonight. My hubby had dental work and only wanted a smoothie.
Oh, they were downed, TeacherNY! Just throwing a softball to those who would judge...I truthfully dont give a hoot how they think!
I've never had one of those. I haven't had a nice cocktail in a while but I think I'll have one when we take my MIL out for Mother's Day
Now, to maybe have the PF Chang's I've been craving all day yesterday, but didn't have the time to get back then. I think I'll have their... Chinese chicken salad & a couple appetizers!
Ate at a family party. Had salad, pasta, meatballs and chocolate cake for dessert. Also a bit of pinot grigio!
Yesterday was Confirmation Sunday at our church. We made the rounds to about 6 parties, plus a birthday party. Sandwich at one stop, potato salad and other nibbles at another, fruit at one, dessert at one...and by the time we got to the birthday party, it was dinner time, so hamburgers, etc. The "graze all day" method worked pretty well for me, since I hit the third trimester and have been STARVING all day but getting heartburn from whatever I eat!
Just entering week 2 of our kitchen remodelling! So we have turned our conservatory (I think you call them garden rooms) into a make shift kitchen. Microwave, slow cooker and a camping gas ring is our kitchen. Still managing to pump out some decent meals though. Last night it was Pork steaks fried with onion and apples with a Chilli Cous Cous. Plus we have £200 ($300) worth of vouchers for local restaurants which is helping as well! We will probably go Italian tonight.
My daughter cooked dinner tonight: parmesan crusted chicken breasts, roasted baby potatoes, "the world's best" broccoli and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for dessert!
Went out to a nice restaurant and had roasted duck with a grand marnier wild berry sauce and chocolate bread pudding for dessert!
My roommate and I were talking about life earlier today. We agreed decided that being an adult is the worst thing that's happened to us in our lives, and everything about being an adult is hard, including eating. Like, eating as an adult is a chore. That's the only way to describe eating: just like everything else as an adult, it's a chore. It's easier to eat snacks than make a meal. So that's exactly what we did. We pulled out every snack food from every nook and cranny of our apartment, ate junk food for dinner while watching Thor 2. We feel a little better about our lives now.
"World's best " broccoli and pb cheese cake? Lol. How did she make them? We love boccolli. My hubby made a plain cheese cake... I put dark hot fudge on mine! I made an Apple crisp last night, so he put a spoon of apple crisp & hot caramel on his! Lol Tacos/wraps tonight.
