Last night I made pizza dough in the breadmaker, so I made a small pepperoni pizza with some of the fresh dough. The rest I froze in individual sized portions.

Lately I've been craving shrimp on Sundays, and I think I still have some in the freezer. So I'll scour allrecipes.com for something tasty and simple.

Didn't get to go out for dinner last night. Couldn't get a reservation! I found out the restaurant was really small and only has a few tables so you have to make reservations way in advance. We're going out tonight to a different place and I just called for a reservation so it's all set :)

Yeah, I've heard all those names. Grinders too. I find that most of the time if there are different names for things in different parts of the country I still manage to know what people are talking about when others are quite stumped.
I have met a few people recently who are stumped when I mention some foods. One asked me what's in guacamole. Really??? Do these people live in caves? :dizzy:

I have beef shanks in the slow cooker. There was a lot of prep in the recipe I'm making, but, from the reviews, I seems as though it will be worth it.

Sipping on hot tea right now, its cold outside (57 degrees) and i'm not feeling well...so I am still under my blanket.

    I'll reheat soup later.

Last night at the restaurant I had butternut squash soup and pumpkin ravioli with Creme Brulee for dessert! Going to eat light tonight and have some zucchini noodles with tomato sauce but I'm making my husband zucchini noodles with shrimp scampi.

I'm making ground turkey patties in a sweet and spicy sauce with garlic green beans. My husband isn't home from work yet so I have to wait to eat! I think I'll put together a fruit and cheese plate in the meantime...and a bit of wine wouldn't hurt!

You always make such tasty things!!! Your family is so lucky!! I love to cook but during the school year, my energy is so zapped, I have no desire to cook. Hence...leftovers. YUCK.

I made chicken breasts stuffed (well folded in half) with pepperoni and mozerrella cheese. The boys devoured it so I'll be making it again some time.

Steak topped w/ grilled onions & mushrooms & lobster!

What a fiasco! BF & I are grilling the food & the sensitive smoke alarm goes off & no amt of fanning w/ the electric fan on high nor even tkg out the battery made it stop! It wasn't even that smokey. My BF had to track down a maint guy outside since the leasing ofc had just closed. He said the alarm was defective because it should hv stopped when a certain button was pressed, which we tried bef tkg the battery out. What a big mess!

This meal better be worth it!

Hope you enjoyed, Ms. I. It sounds delicious.

It's our Thanksgiving weekend and I'm making our Thanksgiving dinner tonight: roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, squash and turnip, green beans with red pepper and pancetta, coleslaw, rosemary pull-apart bread, pumpkin pie and apple crisp for dessert.
