We had tilapia, wild rice, and green beans. Not very satisfying, but good for you. I think I will make spaghetti sauce for tomorrow's dinner.
Grilled chicken and my attempt at Chipotle's lime and cilantro brown rice. The chicken was awesome. I failed on the rice
Last night was salmon pinwheels with salad. Tonight we're going out on the boat, so sandwiches and apples.
I made a veggie stir fry with rice noodles and a random sauce I created which ended up tasting a lot like spicy peanut sauce. Super yummy!
We have been eating a lot of salads with grilled chicken on top or no meat at all just different cheeses, nuts, beans, olives, hard boiled eggs, veggies and fruits (dried and fresh). I also have been making my own dressing although since I got flavored vinegar I have just been splashing my salad with a little vinegar, oil and salt and pepper. Way better than any bottled dressings!
Although I had a salad yesterday, I still went to Souplantation today for lunch. I won't eat much of a dinner this time.
I'm not cooking tonight so hubby is bringing Whataburger home. So healthy! lol I'll cook tomorrow. We can't eat junk two days in a row.
That's the first time I'd ever been to PF Chang's. The closest one is 50 miles away, and I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food. We're out of town, so we stopped.
We had leftovers, creamy shrimp enchiladas and rice salad with a lemon-basil dressing. I also made zucchini bread yesterday.
We had lasagna, salad with lots of radishes from my garden, hot rolls. Tomorrow we are having stuffed peppers.
I'll be on my own for dinner for the next 2 (maybe 3) nights. I'll be treating myself, but trying to get back on track with my eating. Tonight, I'll probably have a big salad with shrimp; tomorrow, scallops, grilled zucchini and salad. I'll save my calories for a nice glass of wine or 2.
MrsC, same here...alone for dinner the next 4 evenings. I just might try this Thai place since my BF hates Thai food.
Changed my mind. Tonight I'm having roasted broccoli and organic farmer's sausage. I love this sausage--it's also virtually non-fat--but it's too expensive to buy to feed the whole family. It's perfect to have when I'm on my own.
Deep dish pizza shipped from Gino's in Chicago with salad and fruit (haven't decided what, so probably fruit salad if some kind).
Just finished a shrimp scampi with loads of fresh veggies in there with those tasty little crustaceans.
Hoping for turkey burgers on the grill tonight. Hubby is on the fence about them but he is the one grilling so he might decide on something else. Was not too hungry for dinner until after 8pm last night so I just snacked.
About to sit down & enjoy my salad made with: organic romaine cilantro red onions sliced turkey ranch dressing hard boiled eggs little pepper little mozzarella cheese tad of crunchy noodles mushrooms
We ended up having the turkey burgers and chili lime corn on the cob. No dessert tonight since we went out for lunch and had desser then. Back to my diet tomorrow I guess LOL
I ended up grilling short ribs (with Greek marinade), yellow zucchini and pita bread and having it all with a bit of tzatziki.
Tonight will be a salad with grilled chicken, sliced apples, dried cranberries and slivered almonds. Probably some cucumber and radishes also.
I'm eating a little early, but I'm having stuffed grape leaves & some meatless MoningStar Farms patties.
Tuna salad I made with Greek yogurt on top of a big garden salad, kiwi, cup of chocolate almond milk for "dessert"
Scrambled eggs and toast last night. We had huge bagel sandwiches at a deli for lunch, so we weren't really hungry.
Dh is a great cook....baked pita chips, red pepper dip, homemade falafel, Israeli salad, roasted beets, feta cheese...and yes, Mediterranean instrumental music streaming on iPod.
