Saw the movies The Pyramid and Dumb & Dumber To (that's how they spelled it). Had dinner at Johnny Carino's & shopped & got:

    - 3 sweaters in grey, white, & red on sale for $16 ea. (reg. $50 ea.)
    - lingerie
    - food scale
    - measuring cup & spoons
    - gift boxes
    - Christmas card
    - tissue paper & to/from labels

Today in the mail, I got my $74 back from rebates!!!
    :D

We brought my barely 2 year old home after 6 days in the hospital to clear the fluid she's had in her ears since she was 5 months old. We spent the rest of the day playing. Today's agenda includes playing and putting the house back in order.

I helped BF start organizing his house. He's good at cleaning, but overwhelmed with "stuff" because he has no storage. I love organizing, so I volunteered my services.

I started working my magic by reorganizing his bug-out bag and laundry room while he cooked dinner. About 3am we each took a couch in the living room and crashed. He woke me up at 6:45 this morning. I was so dead asleep that I didn't even know where I was at first.

After a morning of rehearsing the children's Christmas program at church (I'm playing the organ for the service), I spent the rest of the day sick on the couch. I'm feeling better today, but definitely not 100%, so it's going to be an afternoon of relaxing so I can play somewhat proficiently tonight...

Yesterday J and I went to a wedding then we watched tv and relaxed the rest of the day. Today I'm doing a home health visit. 9am-7pm. So far the client has been sleeping since I got here and when she does wake up for a second she says she's not getting up yet.... Needless to say....I'm bored!!

I rakes leaves . . . again. Did about 8 hours of raking over two days, and I'm worn out. My mom helped me, and we still didn't get all of them. I found my back driveway, two sidewalks, and three flower beds in the process. I love trees. Hate leaves.

Ima, that's a LOT of raking! I never had to rake in my life...never lived that close to trees to have to do it.

I'm sick. Had a fever of 101.9 last night. Doctor prescribed some good old azithromycin. Doctor says it isn't flu or pneumonia, since he had to check for both given my medical history for being prone to respiratory illnesses (so he also gave refills of my nebulizer medications - yay for insurance, since it would cost $1600 without insurance)

    Feel better, bros.

I'm feeling better this morning than I have for a couple of weeks; there was an awful "crud" going through school the last couple of weeks before Christmas--I'd say at least 60% of the kids and staff have had it

My yard is 1.5 acres with lots of big maple & oak trees, plus I back up to the woods. There aren't too many leaves in my front yard, but the back yard has them a foot deep in places. I also hauled away a wheelbarrow full of acorns.

Went to the market 3 towns away that has REALLY good produce. It is quite a drive but it's worth it. My whole fridge is packed with good stuff! Going to be packing away the Christmas tree today and watch some Netflix and read a bit. Tomorrow I'm going to see Into the Woods with my sister. If you read a report in the newspaper about a woman who got kicked out of the theater for singing along during the movie...that would be me LOL

Hit the mall with my daughter this morning. I need to get some of the Christmas stuff put away this afternoon, then am going to see "Jersey Boys" tonight. (I'm hoping that the snow and freezing rain isn't too bad).

Stayed inside after my run. Finished up some home organization and a painting project.

Doing some running around for things that Lauren needs before she goes back to school tomorrow. My husband also decided that today is the day that we need to sort through a bunch of stuff in the basement. I can't devote a lot of time to it today, but was able to get three garbage bags and two boxes of stuff together to donate. I have to spend most of the afternoon trying to catch up on some marking.

Bread is baking in the bread machine. I just finished a "10 minute abs" work out and now I'm doing some school prep. I really need to go grocery shopping, but it's so darn cold outside! I hate winter!! I am also going to wash the floors and finally take down the Christmas decorations. I don't do a tree or anything big, so it shouldn't take too long.

Do you have the 12th night thing in the US? Decorations must be down by the 6th Jan otherwise it is bad luck.

Slept in (missed doing that this week-it was so nice over break)
I had a dentist appointment that I missed because I slept in late (D'oh!)
    Got lunch
Create materials for a lab next week
    Plan a week of lessons
Read a book about learning math and science

That's all I really have planned. I did most of my vegetating during this week each evening. I watched all of the episodes of 'Daria', which is an amazing show.

My husband was splitting wood, so I hauled it to the garage on a sled. Tried to harness the Bernese to help, but she was a little confused!

Trip to Verizon to get a new tempered glass cover for my phone; no idea how the old one broke.

Kohl's to get a new Ohio State sweatshirt for the big game.

Barnes and Noble just for fun (ended up buying 4 new kid books for school).

Reading in front of the fire.

Had dental surgery so I'm on the couch, taking pain pills, feeling sorry for myself cause I have more dental surgery that needs to be done, having a internet argument on Facebook on my addicted to General Hospital page about favorite characters, sewing, and watching Netflix. I think the pain pills have something to do on my internet argument

I'm in Canada, but I've never heard of that. Nor am I superstitious enough to subscribe to that belief. Some of my co-workers and friends just celebrated Ukrainian Christmas, so I kept mine up in honour of that.

I've heard it both ways-bad luck before the 6th and bad luck after the 6th  They were talking about it on the radio after the first.

Our trees are down but other decorations still need to come down.
