I have special needs myself and those are I havce sensory issues, mild mental retardation, adhd, panic disorder, deafness, communication disorder, ptsd, depression,I have limited fine motor skills. Storms are upsetting to me and i am noise sensitive. I am sensitive to clothes what they feel. I have no feeling in my fingers. I do wear hearing aids, and i wear glasses for my vision problems. I was in speech for 15 years. I was diagnosed at age 5 or 6 with severe developmentally delayed. I have come a long way from when i was 5 or 6 years old. I have behavior problems. My teachers in sunday school class have a hard time with me because of my behavior problems. Last sunday i was sitting on top the pew and i flipped over the pew. I was told to behave. I am very wild. What do you do with a student like this? In school time out worked for me. I had to stand in the corner for along time. I am on medicine. I head bang, rock sometimes, also.

Try ear plugs to block out excessive noise. As far as clothing goes, I guess all I can say is that find out which fabric is less irritating for you and stick with it...
