I'm getting postcards ready to send out. What is the message that you write on your postcards?

    For a postcard exchange?

We wrote about the geographic location, weather, major league sports teams of our area, foods, recreational activities, major tourist attractions.

I didn't include state facts such as bird, motto, tree... because I found that my students didn't take as much interest in the info. as much as the "real stuff" that they could actually identify with real people.

If you mean a postcard of introduction, these are the letters I've sent out so far to my kiddos. They are a lot longer than what you can fit on a postcard, but maybe they will help.

Sorry, I didn't clarify. I'm getting postcards to welcome the kids back to school. I want to order them through Vista Print so I don't have to handwrite or run 90 postcards through a printer.

Jem, your letters are great! I bet your kids are so excited to go back to school.
