What movies are coming out this summer that you are looking forward to watching?
My hubby wants to see MIB so I suppose I'll get dragged to that.
I already saw Detective Pikachu and Godzilla: King of the Monsters and I plan to see, in no particular order:
Toy Story 4,
The Secret Life of Pets 2,
Men In Black: International,
Spider-Man: Far From Home,
Hobbs & Shaw, and
The Lion King.

I just saw Rocket Man. It’s very well done, but it’s sad.
That's on my list!

I just saw an ad for The Secret Life of Pets 2!! That will probably be adorable. I'm hoping some good movies come to our drive-in. I think Gozilla would be amazing at the drive-in.

I tried watching Aladdin with my wife and three-year-old. The little one wanted nothing to do with it, and we wound up leaving midway through with her crying. The theater did give us a refund, so maybe we will try again as a date night using a babysitter.

Spider-Man: Far From Home really good
I just saw Haley's comet, she waved
She waved, said, "Why are you always running in place"
Even the man in the moon disappeared
Somewhere in the stratosphere

Any new movies which were out this summer? Can you recommend anything, please? I have found some good and working Streaming Search Engines which are really helpful with it, but I would still like to get any recommendations from you, guys. Thank you in advance for all the replies

How are people seeing NEW movies when their theaters are closed indefinitely? I guess we wait longer until it's out on cable? Is that the only way? (I don't belong to any streaming service.) Here are some good-looking movies I haven't seen yet, but want to & I need to refer back to this list so I don't forget what to watch:
A Quiet Place Part 2
Wonder Women 1984
Spiral: From the Book of Saw
Top Gun: Maverick
Gretel & Hansel
Coming 2 America
The Woman in the Window
Escape Room 2
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
F9 (Fast & Furious 9)
The Forever Purge
I'm probably still missing some, so here's a link for anything else:
The very last movie I saw in the theaters before they shut down was Bloodshot & I go to the movies quite often so I saw the latest ones at the time too & they were all good:
Call of the Wild
Sonic the Hedgehog
Bad Boys for Life
Birds of Prey
Our movies just opened up with 25% capacity. Or maybe 50%. I'm not sure since I don't ;plan on going right now. Maybe by next summer.
Movie theaters have been open since sometime in August here. I went to see a movie on my birthday weekend in early September. I felt pretty safe at the time with all of the precautions, but our numbers were super low then. Unfortunately they've skyrocketed now, so I wouldn't risk it when I can watch movies/TV at home.

Theatres here were open with reduced capacity for a time, but have shut down again in many parts of the province. I think that it will be quite some time before I feel comfortable going to a theatre.

Very few good films have come out this year, so it is not surprising that nowadays the old films are shown more often. They are now showing Harry Potter, which I am very glad)

The best movie for Christmas is Home Alone, for sure!

Theaters are still closed in my area. Can't believe I still haven't seen anything NEW since COVID started, but it hasn't felt as bad as I thought for someone who used to go to the movies quite often. However, I was given the DVD Unhinged as a CHristmas gift, so I'll be watching that. I'm thinking of getting a Roku & Netflix.
The cool thing about Netflix is that it doesn't have just movies. It has lots of different things including Netflix original shows and movies so there's always something to watch.
That's what we do. Cable is too expensive where we live, so we have a Roku and an antenna instead. Roku has a ton of free content either on the Roku channel or on other apps that can be loaded onto Roku. We got the free version of Peacock and I've been watching "Downton Abbey". Netflix has all of Star Trek except the new stuff, so I'm happy. PBS Passport is extremely tempting for me, but it's too pricey to justify for now.
I recommend checking Hulu too before deciding on Netflix. IMO Netflix has better movies and originals, but Hulu has a better TV series selection.

I looked into Hulu too but we realized we're not too into regular tv shows. I'm sure there are some good ones but I don't feel like I'm missing anything. The ONLY tv I really miss the Food Network and I'd like to see some movies on the Hallmark channel but I don't want them enough to pay extra LOL

Well, guys, I got my cable TV bill lowered, so not ready to give it up & not sure I still ever will, but since I love TV, I wanted to have more options. I finally ordered a Roku Stick Plus (in the grey-colored box). I need to find all the FREE stuff I can get now! But I forgot that I should have just signed up for Netflix's DVD Movie Rental Program for just $8/mo in which they continuously mail the next DVD movie that I created on my watch list. (Maybe I'll return the stick, who knows.)
