I was asked to come in for a Special Ed. Instructional Aide interview next week (you have to be a certified teacher for it). Don't know what grade level. They said to bring a portfolio for the interview committee to look at. That seems pretty intense for an aide interview and now I'm scared!

Anyone ever have one? What did they ask you? Is it going to be hard? I have experience as a Special Ed. teacher but it's been 5 years.

Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I went to a SpEd Aide interview once, they asked me to bring in stuff but they ended up not even looking at it.
Most of the questions were "what would you do?"/situation questions. It was not hard at all and I got an offer during my drive home.
