I'm liking Burning Up on the Dance Floor---not sure if that's the right name but if you turn on the radio, you'll hear it! Great song for exercising!

The song(s) I can listen to over and over. 1. George Straits-Amarillo by Morning. The other one is off an album that Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues helped write. It is based on Orsen Wells War of the Worlds. The song is called Forever Autumn. I can listen to it over and over and over and over.

The last CD I bought was Leona Lewis. My favorite song of hers is Better In Time that I listen to quite repeatedly in my car.

I also never get sick of The Glory of Love & You're My Inspiration both by Peter Cetera.

I tend to get hung up on songs, then get tired of them and switch stations when they come on. However, there are a few that will forever warrant blasting and singing along to:

    Unchained Melody - Righteous Bros
Stand By Me - Ben E. King
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
    Shameless - Garth Brooks
    Viva La Vida - Coldplay

Oh my gosh! Thank you SO much for this!!!

I haven't heard this in YEARS! This brings back SO many WONDERFUL memories!

*Love John Denver---saw him twice...and the words innocence and stunning both describe his concerts...along with yee Haw! and Go, Grandma! What a wonderful time (I was in high school when he was at his peak of popularity ...and when we saw him whenever we could.)

*My first year of college...the music majors were sitting around in the hall waiting for the professor to show up. We didn't know each other from Adam at the time. And someone starts to sing this. We softly joined in...not even looking at each other...and then at the chorus...it broke out into this incredible harmony...with each going their own way...but blending beautifully (Singing along...i still remember my part). the professor came around the corner...and simply said, "maybe there IS hope for this freshman class."

*Have loved that song...so long. Thank you!

    Thinking of John Denver...

We played the song My Sweet Lady at our wedding....as our moms were coming down the aisle and lighting our individual candles (for the unity candle). -plus Lady was my nickname for my mom...I miss her so much. This song brings as many tears as it did that day :)

    Hmmm...

    Well,
I listened to a lot of music today while cleaning...the ones I hit repeat on a lot are:
    Testify to Love by Avalon
Satisfied by the Gaither Vocal Band
Swing Down Sweet Chariot, Stop, and let me ride, by Elvis I think.
That kind of Girl by dcTalk (anything by them actually)
Anything by Casting Crowns, Michael W. Smith, or Steven Curtis Chapman
Amazing Grace (my chains are gone) by Chris Tomlin
I could go on and on...lol, I like just about anything contemporary Christian, or praise and worship in general

I have almost evert song John Denver has sung
One night I entered a karaoke contest and I won for sounding like the original artist, which led to being asked to sing at a couple weddings (which are still going strong..... I should have sung at my own weddings ..... one might have lasted  )

How sad is it that I only know a few of these songs. New songs take me too long to learn just so I can hear them. So I prefer to watch American Idol and hear them with captions.

So.... my first song I love is "Imagine" (American Idol David Archuletta's version)

    I also like...

When I Said I Do (Clint Black and Lisa Hartman)
Holes in the Floors of Heaven
One Sweet Day (Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men) (This one is hard for me to hear well but I like it)
Let's Hear it for the Boys (Denise Williams from movie Footloose) (This was my first song/record)
Most songs from Madonna's Immaculate Collection CD
A Whole New World (Aladdin Movie, not the cartoony version) (This is our wedding song we signed in front of our family and friends)
