I need some advice from my fellow atoz members. I know of several teachers getting ready to go out on maternity leave. I've had some P's contact me about these earlier. Supposedly they should be going out very soon (like in the next two weeks soon). Should I contact these P's again to remind them of my interest to find out what the dilly is going on??

Yes, definitely contact the principals. If they are leaving soon, you will want to have time to shadow in the classroom. It is a great way to get to know the routines and procedures. Shadowing also lets you get to know the students. It was very beneficial for me.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

I would email or call to the Ps and remind them of your conversation. Good luck!
