Ok Cerek, I think you have stumped us with this quote from your favorite movie. How about a hint?
I thought it was from another movie but I wanted to check and be sure. I was wrong. So wrong I won't say what movie I thought it came from. Apparently it's from Class Action and I hadn't heard of that movie.
I know lots will know this one!
"How can anyone love a pebble in their shoe?"
Oh, sorry INteacher.
"Destiny is something we've invented because we can't stand the fact that everything that happens is accidental."
no need to be sorry - I've never heard of that movie either. If it's Cerek favorite, I might have to check it out
Back to the game . . .
Sleepless in Seattle I that movie
"Bring out your Dead"
Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
"These go to eleven"
Awwww..you're flattery is gonna make me blush.
It IS a great movie (IMO). Gene Hackman and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio star in the lead roles as a father and daughter on opposite sides of a major "Class Action" lawsuit. Hackman is a small time lawyer that has earned a big reputation from filing class-action suits against large corporations. Mastrantonio works for the legal department of the corporation and is chosen to head the defense against her dad. There are also unresolved personal issues between the two.
The quote is one of my favorites because it is by far the most chilling threat I've ever heard in a movie. The fact that it isn't made by a gun-toting steroid-hero in an action movie just increases the impact of the threat being made.
Sorry for the hijack. Back to the game again.
Spinal Tap! LOL
"Only don't tell me that you're innocent. Because it insults my intelligence and it makes me very angry."

The world will know that free men stood against a tyrant, that few stood against many, and before this battle was over, even a god-king can bleed.
