What I learned today.......

    I AM OUT OF SHAPE!!!!!!! I just got back from my first on hill ski team practice. My legs are killing me. I only made three runs! The last run I thought I was going to crash and burn big time! Well by the end of the season I should be in shape haha.

    Jaime, try sissy squats.......... This exercise is a great way to keep your legs in shape.....

    And of course there are LOTS of other (more painful) :D:Dleg exercises...........

    Jamie you did a lot better than I would have. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to walk!

    Thanks Major. I am going to be on the ski hill at least five days if not six days a week. I'll get back to you about exercises in March after ski season.

    Jamie I am jealous!!!!! I am hoping to get out 5 times this season and that would be pressing my luck!!!!! Unless I travel far I won't be doing any skiing. The slopes nearby are tiny and full of kids that have no clue what they are doing! All the local school's ski clubs.

    Emma,
    The mountain is going to be pretty full but it's not to bad at night because people take to take a run go in and so on. Mondays I won't be doing a lot of skiing probably a lot of standing around! That is race night.

    I learned the same thing last week. I started delivering newspapers in the very early morning hours b/c I need some sort of income. All of the up and down, in and out of the car, and walking took a toll on my muscles for the first couple of days. But I feel good now and I can tell already that I have lost a little weight (and its only been a week:) ).
