I can't eat tonight after dinner til after bloodwork tomorrow morning so what helps you feel full longer? I am so used to cereal at night and breakfast so I'm going to be so hungry until it's over tomorrow! :)

Hmmm I wonder what we'll have for dinner! Maybe tonight is a good huge Mexican take out night! lol.... Well whatever I can normally eat, I usually safe half for another meal. :thumb:

My suggestion: go to bed, sleep until you have to get up. Then get up & go straight there.

I don't usually have a problem eating after dinner. But, when I know that I can't eat after a certain time or until morning, I eat as late as I possibly can.

Can you have water? If so, load up. It will make you feel full but also make your veins nice and plump.

Eating grapes the day before fasting is supposed to help (so I've heard). I don't remember why, though.
Drinking tons of water won't last you through to the next day, it'll just make you run to the bathroom all night and you won't end up sleeping that well (as I know from experience).
Probably eating a meal with a lot of carbs, such as pasta, the night before would be best.

    Carbs have worked for me.

That and staying out of the kitchen in the morning.

When I get bloodwork though, I have to fast but I can still have water.

I agree with the statement of just try and eat a little later. Push it to the limit and then sleep, wake up, and go straight there.

Sometimes drinking warm water makes me fell fuller. Not sure if that is normal or if it is a quirk exclusive to me.

I had to fast until 2:30pm for my knee surgery so I ate a huge dinner at around 11:30pm. I think I got some chicken and bread and lots of it. It was tough not to be able to even drink water.

Most times they tell me to not eat after midnight for fasting lab work. So, I'll eat something before bed. I will drink a little water in the mornings so I won't be so dehydrated that they can't find a vein. I have stubborn veins that don't like to cooperate. ;)
